SHE GET IT FROM her mama the owner looks like a crack head she is skinny, she has these twist that look like they been in 20 years she rude and nasty as hell. KHARA is the bad body one in the front wit the short fat one that thinks she is fine.lol. Touched By the Devil

by Taye P.

I am giving Touched By An Angel Salon one star because I can't give them a 0. Their ad came in the mail, so I thought I would check them out. I never had someone other than family do my sew in, so I thought I would give them a try. I called and set an appointment, but when my husband drove me out the next day, we were lost because the ad listed an address that was near the place and not the exact location. When we finally figured it out because of the help of some people in the area, we got there 5 minutes late for my appt time and no one was there. I had to call and leave 8 messages before I got a hold of someone. I called other locations and talked to the owner who promised someone would be there the next day for me. The following day, I walked in and wasn't asked if I had an appointment. I sat down in the chair amused as the stylist got on her cell phone above my head and talked with the owner about my call and then proceeded to talk about me to her fellow stylist. Mind you, I didn't tell them that I was the person blowing up their cells the day before, so they didn't know they were talking about me. The girl did my hair while talking about any and everything under the sun, including, like someone else posted, talking about other stylists and customers as they left. I brought the required two packs of hair and she only used one. The stylists are rude when you have anything to say. I asked for a netweave. Well the girl started sewing on hair without a net--I noticed that the net hadn't been put on, so I asked her about it. She said that she was working on something and had it down. Now, this is before she proceeded to take down my hair and put the darn net on. I was pissed because she sewed stacks of hair together on my braids, leaving huge gaps in between each row. She acted like I was speaking chinese when I asked her to fill in those areas. She told me she wouldn't because it would be too full to look natural. WTF? I wasn't home for two hours before the ends of a couple rows were loose and hanging down. There went my $75 for the do and the $18 for the pack of hair. I don't know why they haven't been shut down yet...oh I know why, because there are so many people that hope for a good experience for a little bit of money. Yep, I was there. I didn't have enough to pay another stylist...so here I am still having to pay someone else.

Better Salon

by Happy w.

My Friend referred to this $50 Sew-in salon by the name of WEAVE GODDESS and the service was great. Everyone that i sent there came out very please. The owner even call me to follow-up a week late to see if I was still happy with my hair and she stated we stand by our service. I love being treated like this even if I am only paying $50.. Also they had a coupon on merchantcity for $5 off 1st service. I had no problem and was in and out. I love them ... I have the shop number as (770) 648-6955. Everyone that wants to be treated with class should check them out. before I went here i was going to THE WEAVE SHOP and it was the same as Touch by an angle a hot mess. Ladies go to WEAVE GODDESS....

Updated Locations

by Suzette H.

I'm not sure but I think I heard that there was a Touched by an Angel location in Buckhead. I'm sure the atmosphere there would be more professional because of the market they serve. Has anyone been there and if so, what is the address?

T Beauty Salon is not professional!

by angel p.

I am a stylist myself, who has done my own hair for over 20yrs including my own sew-ins. I really just wanted to sit down and have someone else do my hair for a change and I figured how bad could someone mess up a sew-in? I figured if I felt my stylist messing up I could correct them and guide them into doing it right. Puh! Silly me! I went in to TBAA and I must admit I didn't wait long. I went to the Conyers location. My complaint is with my sew-in! They tell you that you MUST bring 2 bags of hair. I'm thinking that is just their way of making sure you have enough hair; No way were they going to use ALL of that hair on my head!? Well when she got done there was WAY too much of my own hair left out in the top and when I asked her to put some more hair in the top not only did she tell me it would be another $25 to put in 1-2more tracks but this broad had used ALL the hair already, after I told her I wanted height in the top!? To be completely honest I couldn't really see what my hair was looking like from the back, from what I seen in the front it was fixable (as long as when I got home I removed some tracks from the back and relocate to the top) Wow! when I got home, I seen that they had only put FIVE braids total in my hair, my hair was sooo thick in the back that I couldn't even use a elastic ponytail holder to hold all of it! And I had some looong, wavy weave ( she should've only had to use 1 bag of hair) Girl, I couldn't fix it myself, that same day i went into a real "salon" and had someone cut all of it out! So here I was stuck on a Friday, having to go and buy more hair and spend the time to do my own hair anyways!!! I will never go back as a customer but I will consider working there, maybe I could save some of you some aggravation by being your stylist and giving you the weave you expect!!

bad...very bad

by kesha z.

I called their salon at 4pm when I got off work, the man or woman who answered sounded sleep and groggy n sounded just how i spell it "tushed bi-n an-jah." lol {stupid-ass} I asked VERY CLEAR "what time do you close" they stated they closed at 6PM. When I arrived at their salon at 5 actually.. a little before 5pm they had already LOCKED the door and cut off the lights. Then a huge guy came to the door and said we took our last customer at 430 then quickly closed the door before I could say anything. I was piiisssssssssssed off. I drove thirty minutes and it wasn't 6PM. They ghetto and unprofessional. Save yourself some time & money. cuz you get what u pay for.

Don't Do It...

by Michelle S.

Believe the bad reviews that are written about this place. I received a flyer in the mail, and the prices were unbelievable (and trust me, they are low for a reason!) and decided to swing by to set up an appointment. They told me I couldn't "set up" an appointment, just walk in, which should have been my first red flag. I got there at 5pm on a Friday evening, I didn't leave until almost midnight! The shop itself is nasty, disorganized, and low budget. There were cheap patio chairs set up under rolling hair dryers. Broken furniture was everywhere. The stylist who did my hair let the relaxer sit for way too long, and if I hadn't said anything, I'd probably still be sitting in her chair. I know a stylist who worked there and she told me that it was just as bad as I saw when I went in. Way too good to be true...

NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE

by ashley a.

I just recently went to salon at the Jonesboro location, ans after arriving there at 3 they did not star on my hair until almost 5. They are very messy in there and unorganized. There was a lady who was supposed to rinse my conditioner out and she just left, she was always on her cellular phone talking walking in and out of the salon. Then they had this older woman in there who doesn't understand any other hair style beside a roller set i asked her to set and wrap my hair, bu t she did what she wanted anyways and put the damn rollers in my hair had me sit under the dryer for 2 hours took the rollers out wrapped my hair dry and tried to have me sit back under the dryer. That was the last straw so i told her to not touch my hair i will fix it when i got home. never ever again will i go there nor do i recomend this place to anyone else

Very Unprofessional

by Anonymous

This so-called salon is the most unprofessional, unorganized, and inadequate salon I have ever been to.
They lured me in with the $50 weave, then when I got there they told me I had to have a coupon( which was not on the newspaper flyer) and that I had to get my hair washed which was an additional charge and if I got my hair styled or clipped it was an additional charge.
BAIT & SWITCH which is illegal in advertising
The owner came in to the salon to count receipts and opened the cash drawer( located in the middle of the salon) in front of customers and started counting money and calling the stylists from their customers to find out what was on tickets. This was in the middle of the day on a busy Saturday, she didn't care about taking stylists from their clients.

The stylists were talking amongst themselves, having conversations on cell-phones, while doing hair they didn't greet customers coming in or once in their chairs. Some of the stylists couldn't answer basic questions about hair care or how to maintain the hair when customers asked. They all did the same hairstyles without asking how you wanted it styled. They all had different ways of doing weaves and if you wanted a full head with no hair left out they acted like you were speaking a foreign language. They talked about the customers as they left in front of other customers and they talked about other stylists that weren't there.
It took too long to braid my hair and my stylist couldn't braid, I had to wait til someone else was finished to get it braided. Why pick me to do my hair if you knew you couldn't braid. The weave came out OK but I had to go home and let my sister cut it because I refused to pay for stuff that wasn't listed.
This shop and all the ones associated with them (i've been to 3 different ones in hopes of getting better service) that advertise the $50 weave care nothing about return customers, I guess getting one-time customers is enough for them.
Customer Service sucks, my bad there is no customer service. They should have uniform training and the stylists need to learn that when a client is in the chair or waiting area, there conversations should focus on the client or nothing at all.
They are not worth the cheap price. If I could give them ZERO points for stars I would.
Save your money and go to a salon that cares and appreciates its clients.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!! (Jonesboro Location on S Main Street)

by Anonymous

To start off horrible experience, I call TBAA starting Friday no one never answered, then Saturday morning I called again finally someone decided to answer the phone. I ask since knowing that Saturdays are busy days for a hair salon, were they accepting walk ins today. They stated Yeah come on in. After being lost for 15-20 mins due to no one answering the phone for directions, I got there at 10:45 am. They didn't start on my hair until 1:00pm!!!! Between the time (10:45am-1:00pm) I was asked a million times what I getting even though it was on the sign in sheet. No one greets you when you walk in very rude stylists. Then while I was waiting the stylists were so unorganized, unprofessional, young , and very immature, they carried on about who was going to do what right in of front the customers. Very poor customer service skills! Finally after waiting 2 1/2 hours a stylist started on my hair. She did a horrible relaxer did not even work it in I would've did a better relaxer myself. I ask for a quick weave I don't what I got the stylist did not mold or braid my hair just used a hair net that is mostly use for sew ins. One stylist even asked her (stylist who was doing my hair) did she mold or braid my hair. Then they began to whisper among each other. Not caring to impress a new client not caring about your client hair. Very not caring attitudes. One girl (shampoo girl) stated her concerns that alot my hair would come out due to the fact the stylist didn't mold or braid my hair before she apply the bonding glue to another stylist after my stylist had left. After a very rushed job the stylist just left and told someone else to finish my hair. It was ridiculous it was no older or mature adult stylists, all were seem to be young and inexperience, I will not recommend anyone to go here ever!!!! I am calling the owner and better business bureau Monday morning. I hoping to get my money back and have BBB come check out the salon for proper documentations for salon. Im sure none of them are not licensed. So hopefully they can make sure no one else has to go thru what I experienced. It was the worst experience ever truly.

Long waits

by Shanda D. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 243

If you don't make your appointment early you will be sure to wait longer than you'd like. This is to be expected during the weekend. The prices are decent, you can afford them. They need to work on the styles. Everyone left with same type hair do.

The do hair nice..

by Josette H. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 549

Very nice environment, kid friendly. Their prices are OK, average for the area. Located on a very busy street, easy to find. Hair styling is pretty good, and the staff is nice.
