Savage sales approach. Bought a $5000 spa 6 years ago (have also bought pool table, snooker table, poker table, bar etc over the years). Went in for repair help for the first time. Will never go back.
1. They claim lifetime guarantee on the pump assemblys. They don't tell you that covers "only" the motor. I have five "jets" that have just fallen off (no abuse or breakage). I asked for replacements and they refused claiming "the chemicals ate up the plastic" and I used the recommended chemicals! They wouldn't even discount the price for a long term customer (the General Manager didn't care how much I had bought from them and stated that fact).
2. Bought a spa cover from them 3 years ago for $128. Went to buy a new one and was quoted $400! I asked "how did the price go up so much and the General Manager told me that "they weren't making enough money then and now they are!" He refused to come down at all on the price. He was quite proud of his attitude and didn't care about the customer at all. After he made such a tacky comment about how much money they made, I informed him that he wouldn't make a dime off me today and will never see me again. He didn't care.
3. The "sales" they promote are phoney. It looks like prices are raised before the sale to cover the sales pricing. I went in for a "50% off sale!!! We lost our lease! Everything must go!". They hadn't lost their lease. They made the decision to move their store to a new location in about six months. The General Manager admitted this and laughed. I looked at spa supplies and billiard supplies. I didn't find a single item marked down 50%. In fact, I only found a couple of items on sale at all except for their normal "end of the season" merchandise such as outdoor furniture. The GM admitted that they weren't trying to liqudate, they will simply move their inventory to other stores. They had no intention of selling anything at a severe discount, they were tricking people to come into their store with false advertising. My opinion is they should be fined for Bait and Switch tactics.
4. Lastly; you've hear me state above how the GM treats long term customers, well the sales people are even worse. It takes an act of God to get waited on by anyone on the floor if you are only buying supplies or need a repair. But if you look like you want to drop a few thousand on overpriced goods, they won't leave you alone. High pressure!

Avoid these people.

They have a wide range of pools, pool tables and hot tubs but their "deals" are not really deals. They run deals saying that you get free installation but they just make the pool more money. The sales people are driven on commission so they are all trying to sell you something.
