I went by Thomasville Toyota to purchase a new Sienna. I was very intrigued by the free maintenance plan as well as the 20 year warranty. After spending several hours in the dealership working with a sales associate it became clear that I was not in the right place when the Sales Manager, Lee Graham came out and sat at the desk. He was very flirtatious and said "girl, I cant get you in this Sienna today can we?" I said, well Im hoping to leave in one! which he then BOLDLY REPLIED.. "well what's in it for me?" and winked. I said.. "EXCUSE ME??" In which he replied.. "Im saying..as a dealer.. what's in it for me" and smiled. He knows what he was saying. I was appalled by this and his business practices. I ended up leaving and going to the Honda store around the corner. I purchased an Odyssey (despite wanting the Sienna) from a nice gentleman there that was not surprised when I told him this story. He said he wasnt going to "bash" them, but that he was not surprised at all.

Thomasville Toyota rental - hah. Don't do it. It was find when they had people that liked their job and cared about other people. This is the 4th time we rented a vehicle from them and have had good experiences. In June of this year, we rented a mini van for one week and the rental manager Rob had no personality, seems to be miserable in his job, and we found out later that he was miserable in another position that he held at the same dealership. Needless to say, we ended up paying for his unhappiness. When we went to pick up the 2011 van he reserved for us, the inside smelled like animals and had black animal hair all over the back seat. We chose the only other van he had available, and had to go home and vacuum out sand from the back seats. We drove the van to visit relatives in Texas. We only parked at one Wal Mart during that seven day trip, and as always we parked at the far end of the parking lot to give others who are less able than we are parking closer to the door. This is our common practice. We returned the van to Thomasville Toyota on the scheduled return date. Rob walked out to inspect the van with an attitude and a clipboard in hand. We returned the van cleaner than it was when we picked it up. Rob found a 3' scratch about as thick has a strand of hair on the back of the van above the rear wheel. You really had to look for it to see it. Rob's first question was "who is your insurance company?". I said "you've got to be kidding". We have rented dozens of vehicles from different rental agencies and airports and never had an issue before from an obvious road debris scratch. Short end of the story, when contacted our State Farm agent filed the necessary paperwork and required a picture from Thomasville Toyota with the estimate for repair. A day or so later, a claims adjustor called me and pretty much was appalled by this claim. Luckily, my deductible was only $100.00 on comprehensive. My local State Farm agent called me and said that because of my compelling story about Rob and Thomasville Toyota and our one Wal Mart run in 7 days (scratch was to high for a basket or car door to hit) they had decided to waive my $100.00 deductible. Yeah State Farm - Boo Thomasville Toyota! And what's worse, Thomasville Toyota received a check from State Farm for this "horrible" damage to their property and never even bothered to fix it. Sounds like a scam to me. Moral of the story - we thought that Thomasville Toyota was the only rental agency in town that you could get a mini van for under $400.00 a week. Not true, Enterpise gave us a better deal! Guess who we're renting from for our cross country trip in September - Enterprise!

This place is a terrible dealership with wonderful vehicles. My mother bought a used car and paid cash. she was sold an expensive extended warranty which she also paid for at time of purchase. Two months later the car started having problems that WERE covered under this warranty and ONLY at that time were we told that the warranty was void. They THEN returned the money, thru the mail, that was paid for this so called warranty, and wanted to charge an outrageous price to repair the car. Too bad they wouldn't take the car back. Needless to say, I took the car elsewhere for repair. We will NEVER STEP foot in this place again. They could care less when you walk out the door after purchasing a vehicle.....they only want your money and to sell you ANY kind of BS with their products. SAD
