Michael's Carpets is a great place to go for low prices! I recently put new hardwood floors in my condo and, while shopping around for low prices, found that they have the best quality and the lowest prices. I will definitely use them for future hardwood/carpet needs, and would highly recommend them.

I have been working with Michael's Carpets for the past 4 years. I have saved so much money and have received prompt professional salesmen every time (Phillip Harrow has been outstanding) I work in WI. and I never have logistic problems like I with so many other suppliers. I get more work than my counterparts due to this cost savings that I pass on to my customers. Thanks Michael's!

I got a carpet for $5.50 per yard for the whole roll it was a nice frieze not builders grade and not a second! then-we paid $9.99 and 10.99 i per yard for a friend a top of the line frieze very thick and very nice for a million dollar home! She saved $5000 to $6000 over what others quoted her for the same carpet in a different color! I am in real estate and I take my clients there. the next guy got a 12x175 in medium quality for $5.99 per yard for the whole roll and 2.25 for 8 lb-pad and 175 for 6 lb pad....worth the trip. and great guys!

GraniteMax is part of Michaels Carpet. I went there for granite for my kitchen counter and bar top because of the reputation I had heard about Michael's. I have not personally worked with Michael's but if GraniteMax is anything like them I NEVER WILL!! First, their templating (estimator) couldn't find my place and therefor was very late. Once there he was fine but gave me wrong information on questions I had for him (I later found out). This cost me time that day of the install for him to come out for some additional measurements and then another trip from their installers to complete a job that should've been done in a few hours. They have yet to have anyone representing their company come to my home as scheduled, each was late or called to reschedule. I was to have my granite installed last week Friday and 1 week later I am still waiting to get completed... this morning with another postponement!

After asking them about the mess it may make in our home and being told not to worry they won't make one... we then had to contend with the worse mess we could imagine. They did NOT take any precautions to try to minimize dust that was created due to cutting a hole for our stove top (we asked about this concern 3 different times) and were assured this wouldn't be a problem. They dry cut this and created the largest dust cloud imaginable. This left granite dust on our draperies, carpet, hardwood floor in our kitchen drawers and cabinets and any other nook and cranny throughout most of the house.

We were also told our bar can be installed without the need of Corbels (decorative support), that was until they came out to install the granite, then they said we needed them. Several days it took us to find some, not even the professionals at GraniteMax could tell us where to find them. These are not cheap, 4 cost $200+... another 5% to our total investment we didn't expect.

I have one of the owners rescheduled to come out tomorrow to (hopefully) finish their work. I hope he can complete so our nightmare with them will be over. I can't wait to discuss with him the cleaning and time lost due to their shortcomings and misinformation to complete in a proper and timely manner. So far, they haven't seemed to care the anguish they have put on us.
