Ratings_icons Braelinn Village Animal Hospital is AMAZING!

Always went above and beyond! Dr. Cheryl Sine and the other vets there are all amazing-as well as all the vet techs and office staff! I highly recommend them, but have to give special recognition to Dr. Sine-she gave me more time with my Katie and that meant the world to me! Thank you!

Ratings_icons Wonderful clinic!

I'm new to Atlanta and I was looking for a great place to adopt a new pet. Through some friends of mine I learned of Braelinn Village Animal Hospital. The staff at B.V. was very helpful and informative on what I would need for my new kitten. The adoption went over very smoothly, and they took very good care of my pet (shots, de-claw, and neuter). Months later my kitten is happy and healthy thanks to the continued care of B.V. The combination of a great staff and wonderful service will definitely have me coming back to Braelinn.

Brealinn Village Animal Hosp is the best clinic I have ever been to. The Techs and the Vets are the most caring people I have ever met. My dog Stretch had a swollen disc in his back and Dr. Sine recommended Med for him when other doctors in the past have said surgery was the only answer. I love my dog stretch and would just be miserable without him. Dr. Sine saved my dog. She is the best. Stretch was 16 with back trouble and is now 18 doing great! But thats just one Dr. their are 6 Dr.s total and I trust them all. All three of my pets are old and healthy thanks to the great team at BVAH. Thank you Dr. Sine, Allen, Mann, Lee, Traczewitz, and Rudd.

I have been taking my dog to Braelinn Village for 9 years now, which in itself is a testament to how good they are. He is still healthy, active, and energetic, even at his old age. From dietary problems, insect poisoning to broken bones, the staff at Braelinn Village are accommodating and helpful, and the doctors have been able to solve all of his past issues. If you cherish your pet(s) as much as I do, there's few places better in the Metro Atlanta/South area to take them to.

Ratings_icons Great Staff from the Top Down

BARBARA G.

I have taken many, many cats and/or dogs ( my daughter is a pet lover) to Braelinn Village Animal Hosp. over the last 9 or so years and have had nothing but good things to say about the Dr.s and the Staff. Having been in Customer Service for 35yrs with a major airline, I know quite alot about what is good service. Sure, we all have our off days, but those times have been very RARE. The people at the front desk have always been helpful and professional. The Drs and Techs always treat me with respect and show the care toward my pet that I would expect. I have tried other Vets in the past but Braelinn is the one I always go to now.

I have taken my dogs to Braelinn Village for many years, ever since another local veterinary practice botched two diagnoses and a surgery. My labby died last year, after a very long bout with a virulent form of cancer. They were quick to refer her to Auburn Vet School for treatment and worked with me on her follow up treatment at home. In the end, we lost her, but they provided the best possible treatment and empathy for her/my suffering. Now, my other two dogs are elderly and have very serious health problems. I see the people at Braelinn Village almost every week. They know me and my dogs by name and seem to care as much about my dogs as I do. Yes, the doctors are busy; yes the staff is busy. But they always seem to be able to work me in or let me drop off my dogs if there is a problem. Braelinn Village staff tries to see every animal that is sick and needs to be seen. Many customers get very irritated with the staff when they have to wait. They do not take into consideration that there may have been some emergency that had to be handled, backing up the schedule. The doctors are careful to present the alternatives and the costs of projected treatment options and let the owners make the final decisions. The doctors are NOT omniscient. They use the most modern equipment, consult with Auburn University or other sources, and make the best decisions they can make with the information they have. Sometimes their best just is not enough to save the sick dog or cat. If you have a problem with Braelinn Village Animal Hospital, I would encourage you to seek treatment for your animals elsewhere. With the thriving practice that they have, I do not believe they will miss a few disgruntled customers.

Ratings_icons Miserable people with a bad attitude.

The staff is a miserable bunch of people who feel like they are doing you a favor by working on your pet. My dog was a patient there for years and I put up with their poor attitude until I had a bad experience with our dog and called the office to get their side of the story. I was shocked at their attitude. The owners wife got on the phone and she was even worse. I can see where the staff gets their nasty attitude from.
We changed vets and have been thrilled ever since. This was a blessing in disguise.

Ratings_icons Horrible....

My pet will no longer be a patient of this clinic any longer! The staff at the front door here is absolutely the rudest bunch of women I have ever seen. I went in merely to pick up food for my dog, and I was rudely pushed out of the way by one of the older front desk staff, who never once offered to help me. I called prior to arriving to ask if they had the food I needed, which is rare....and I was told to make sure I was in by 1 PM. Um, I thought there office hours where until 2 PM on Saturday? It's really a sad thing when the owner of the clinic, Dr. Rudd, will allow his wife to treat clients in the manner she does. If you don't want to work in customer service, then don't get a job where you will actually be responsibly for that!

Ratings_icons Vets okay, staff awful

I would not recommend this animal hospital. A couple of the vets seem okay, but the staff tends to be inconsiderate and abrupt. The techs and assistants are not friendly and don't seem to care much about pets or how they treat pets. The exam rooms have carpet and at each visit the carpet smelled like urine. If your pets are an important member of your family, you will skip this place, because they will not be treated as you would like. Good vets can be found elsewhere. The hospital administrator needs to pay attention to what goes on at the front counter and in the exam rooms. They need to train the staff in how to interact and show compassion and empathy.

Ratings_icons OK if nothing serious -

I have taken my dog in for little things but do not trust this vet clinic for any procedure that involoves more than taking blood for tests. Two of the vets there suggested a few procedures that I felt were questionable. I took my dog to another vet clinic and never said a word about him being looked at by this clinic. Totally different answers and diagnosis from the second vet. I will add the staff is not that friendly. The staff seeing my dog never called him by his name, petted him, just business as usual. I'm sure my dog didn't care, but I sure did!

Ratings_icons saved our dog!

My 2.5 y/o lab mix Tootsie who is the apple of my eye came up lam. The pain was crippling her and she went from happy beloved pup to miserable wretch in as little as 2 weeks. (still beloved) We went to our vet and had a month on antiinflamatories before they decided to test the ACL. her ligament was torn and we were refered to DR Rudd as one of the few vet's in goergia who did this type pf repair. He confirmed the dx and surgery was discussed, and of course we went for it. It has saved our happy home. as the vet said it would take some time for recovery, and it was expensive. But our pup is now the happy doggie she was.

Ratings_icons Malpractice, Too

My regular vet referred me to Dr. Ray Rudd at the Braelinn Village Animal Hospital for more extensive testing on my dog to diagnose his illness. At first, I was impressed by his attitude and thoroughness in his attempts to treat my dog. When my dogs health continued to decline, he performed exploratory surgery on him and the lab results confirmed Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Dr. Rudd would not accept these results and continued to insist my dog had liver cancereven had the biopsy cut two times. A feeding tube was inserted to assist my dog in getting the nutrition and medicine he needed to treat the IBD. The tube began leaking and on four occasions this was brought to the attention of Dr. Rudd and his staff and they would only say they didnt know why it was leaking. The tube finally came completely out of my dogs stomach and he developed peritonitis. I believe my dog passed away untimely and needlessly from this deadly disease because of the mismanagement of the feeding tube. Dr. Rudd even insisted on a third liver biopsy when my dog was fighting for his life. Again, no liver cancer. If you love and care for your pets, please do not take them to Dr. Rudd at his facility.

On 4/20/2006 I took my Olde English Bulldog in for a Cecerian Section and Spaying. They did what seemed to be at the time a great job, delivering 10 puppies and only 1 did not make it. After about a month and a half she started bleeding like she was having her Menstrual cycle, I then took her to another Animal Hospital in McDonough, where they found a serious infection in her abdomen , and had to do emergency surgery to remove GAUZE PAD that was left inside her during her cecerian, the Vet had to cut her intestines in half to remove the Gauze that had been in her for months. So as of today she is still in the hospital and is recovering well , but bills are piling up. I contacted Braelinn Village animal Hospital with the new findings and they are surprisingly enough owning up to their mistake. So I guess I would have to say stay away from there for major surgery..But on the other hand for shots, grooming and regular checkups , I always had a pleasant experience with them..Thank You

Ratings_icons Really an excellent hospital

Alisa W.

As having a father as a retired veterinarian, it was difficult to find one that I trusted. After many other hospital visits, I feel that this one is the best and most qualified in the area. The staff is wonderful and I trust them completely. They take the time out to make you and your pet feel important.
