Read the bad review and all I have to say is "BS". Brandys serves 3-500 people daily most of whom are regulars. The food is great and so is the staff. No dog in this fight just love their food.

tried this place today after recently seeing it voted "best hot dogs in Atlanta" in the AJC. Good grief, why? The good things are good chili, ok for frozen onion rings, low cost and really finely chopped onions.. The hot dogs are low

My dad raves about this place and how simple and straight-forward they are about their product. It is definitely a no-frills restaurant. They have a very limited menu, which is part of the charm and draw.

Very quick, efficient service. You can go in and sit down at the bar or a table (not a lot of them) or get your food to go. They are only open for a few hours a day, which keeps them busy.

I wasn't amazed by their product, but that's just me. I do like that they concentrate on just a handful of items and doing them well. I think what makes them famous and keeps the customers coming back is the spicy chili they put on the hot dogs (you CAN get it without, but why not get it the "famous" way?). Not being a chili fan, myself, I must say it was actually good chili. I like that it is finely chopped, making it easy to eat.
