What a great comic shop! They have the largest selection of comics and trade paperbacks of any store I've ever been in, and the staff really knows about comics. I'm not a game player, but they seem to have a great selection of games, too.

I came in earlier today with my daughter and needed help finding some decent games. The two ladies working both helped me. Julie (I think) gave me some Munchkin info and the other (cute, taller blonde) gave me tons of info and suggestions

I have been a customer of Dr. No's since 1994. I can honestly say I've never been to a better comic store in Georgia or New York. your selection and staff are excellent! Thank you for almost 20 years of great comics experience.

I was blown away by how great the store was and how exceptional the service was. I was greeted warmly and kindly by all 3 employees. They approached me and asked me how I was, and smiled, and seemed to genuinely care about what I wanted. Try finding that at Wal-Mart! They showed me exactly what I wanted and took me to the places in the store to see them. Also, when I asked about one thing, they thought ahead to other related items that I might be interested in, too. In addition, there was great music playing, but not too loud. Sometimes, even stores like Whole Foods play horrible music. They also have a lot of RPG's and graphic novels that are two for the price of one. I can't wait to go back! I can't think of ANY store where I have experienced such high level of customer care or service. Also, the place was super clean and well-lit. Some comic shops have a dusty or grimy feel, but this one felt immaculate.

Huge store, phenomenal selection. I love pre-hero Marvels and they're the only store in town that has many of those. They also have lots of Silver Age DC books, including hard to find first issues. They have as many graphic novels as every other Marietta comic shop combined! Staff is great to work with and really takes the time to learn their customers preferences. Wouldn't shop anywhere else.

I'm a comic dork, and I love this place!\r
Possibly the largest selection of new titles, graphic novels and art books in the entire Atlanta area.\r
Although a bit light on toys, they always have plenty of collectible statues and mini-busts

I frequent Dr No's for the simple reason that's it's close to my house. The store is nice and well-stocked, although the shopping center it's in has seen better days. The employees and owner (Cliff) are generally nice, but they can be somewhat aloof. Their prices are extremely high. Across the board, from comics to games, expect to pay retail or higher than retail. I often laugh when I look at what they charge for games. It's hard to rationalize paying MSRP when I can find it online or elsewhere for much less. I buy a few games a year there mostly out of charity. In general, Hobby Town and other nearby game stores are friendlier and cheaper. You can occasionally find a bargain, but it's rare. You can play games there, but there are only a few tables and it's predominantly Magic and other CCG's. If you didn't buy the game there you also run the risk of being asked to leave. Although a nice local shop, not exactly friendly or affordable.

I have always had a great time at Dr. No's. I've been shopping there ever since I was a kid, and now I take my kids there. They have a great choice of books for kids, and they will really help little kids find a book that they like. They also have more superhero and regular comics than anybody else, which is great. Cliff has treated me great ever since my mom used to bring me in there when I was too young to drive myself, and he's just as good for my kids. Buck knows his games stuff, and has helped me to find a couple of board games that I'd like (Call of Cthulhu rocks!). They're always helpful and always friendly, and every time I go in there I find more stuff that I never knew about.

Best store in Atlanta! No one has a better selection, and the staff really knows their stuff! I love their selection of graphic novels; they've got more graphic novels than most stores have comic books! Any time I'm looking for something, they're able to find it or to tell me if it can be ordered, and they can show me other things that might appeal to me. Since I like Silver Age comics, they let me know as soon as they got a big Silver Age collection, and now I'm in heaven!

First, I'm not a comics collector. But I had heard there was a comic with Solomon Kane.
So I went to this store, and was looking along the comics for a few minutes. I found a couple of the comics, and was looking at them to try and determine which was the 1st, 2nd, etc.

Some guy comes over there and says "Sir, we'd prefer you not look at the comics if you aren't going to buy them."

He just insured that I wasn't going to buy them, or anything else from them, ever again.

How am I suppose to know what to buy if I'm not able to look at it? Absolutely unforgivable.

Like Oxford, one of the Atlanta comic fixtures. Not really close to me anymore, but worth a trip just to browse the graphic novel wall. I never fail to find something new just poking around. The only reason they don't get 4 stars is that the people who work there are inconsistent.. If you see Cliff, he's brilliant! Your odds are 60/40 otherwise - 60% good, 40% not so great. Gives the place character, but sometimes I just want to know when something is coming out.

Pros: Comic selection is huge, graphic novel selection is huge

Without belaboring the point, Dr. No's has consistantly provided the worst customer-service I have ever seen in a comic shop. I'll drop by every couple of years to give them another chance, and each time they continue to disappoint. The only thing keeping this from being a 1star review is the fact that they're a good place to get hard-to-find items. Whether or not you're willing/able to pay for them is another matter.

Pros: Large layout, lots of gaming supplies and room to play

Cons: The employees

The selection is great and while their back issues are over priced I've found that they are not the only ones who over charge, just check out Oxford Comics in Atlanta. I make it a practice of not buying back issues at any stores. The staff is pleasant and goes out of it's way to pull issues for me that they think I may want even if I do not end up buying them. Admittedly I spend a nice peace of change in the store each week so it behooves them to be nice to me but I've had bad service in places I've frequented before so it's not guaranteed. I normally don't bring the kids because they are anal about keeping the merchandise in good condition but I can understand that especially if you ever see how people throw books around at say a Barnes and Nobles.

Every person I know who's been to Dr. No's can name at LEAST one bad experience they've had with them. They're prices are very inflated, and if you're looking to play any card games you should probably go to Super Games in Alpharetta or Hobby Town in Kennesaw. Dr. No's likes to kick people out for inappropriate reason's and they're are quite rude if you try to give them any constructive criticism. The ONLY reason they are still in business is because they are local in Kennesaw and they manage to sell they're comics less than regularly. Don't even consider Dr. No's for anything!!! There is a reason why people all over Georgia drive the extra 30 minutes to an hour to just to go to Super Games or hobby Town even if Dr. No's is just down the road.

You won't find a better comic shop than this. They have more comics than any other store, and I've never seen so many graphic novels in one location--there are thousands of titles, including two books I was looking for that have been out of print for years! They also have a very family-friendly store with a HUGE section of stuff for younger kids who want to read comics. I saw where someone complained about them charging to play, but what he said isn't right. I've been in their tournaments dozens of times, and they ask that you either pay the tournament fee or buy a pack if you want to stay and play during the tournament--they don't ever charge both. And they are very good about stopping people from cussing, which is good becuase a lot of their players are kids for games like Yugioh. It's my favorite comic shop.

If you are looking for back issues, avoid this store like the plague. While they have the best selection of back issues in the area the prices are so over inflated it is ridiculous. They do not sell any back issues for less than 3.50, even if it is stickered lower than that. Comics that you can find in 50 cent bins at other places they sell for at least $3.50. This is why they have so many back issues because nobody buys them. The staff is OK but they seem more interested in gaming than they do comics.

I went to Dr. Nos to play a card game and I got there early so I browsed around and bought something then continued to browse and the asked me while I was still here and asked me to leave. I told them I was here to play cards and they said oh well its five dollars to play. I said ok then they asked if I was gonna enter the tournament and I said " I already gave you my money" but it turns out that was just to stay in the store. f them so I said I was gonna leave and they wouldn't give me back my money and then tryed to make me pay for curseing. I hate them I spit on them.

It you are looking for a particular comic, this is your place. Dr. No's has been in business FOREVER and they know their stuff in there. I have been numerous times in search of gifts for my brother and they have gone above and beyond in helping me find what he requested, and even did some after hours digging for me once to help locate a particular comic. They length of time they've been in business tells you all you need to know. Kudos!

PROS: service, service, service!!!

If collecting comic books is your thing, then Dr. No's is the place for you! They have thousands of comics as well as the ability to order what you need. They also have hard to find 'unique' games as well as books for many role playing games. They host miniatures games several nights a week as well as collectible card games. The store has been around for YEARS and the staff is incredibly knowledgable.
