My wife and I recently stopped here on a Tues around 12:30. Service was poor. We had to repeat our order 3 times, and they still erred. My wife wanted rye bread and they gave her white, after I took our food to the table, i discovered they had not included my beans. The shredded pork had a great smoke flavor, but was dry. They do get points for putting no sauce on it. Their sauce in the bottle was reddish, all I could taste was pepper and vinegar. Their beans were basically a smoky bean soup, pass on it. We must have gotten there before they had a chance to finish their Brunswick stew. What they served was a tomato roux without a hint of meat and nary a veggie in sight. The slaw was excellent. Fresh tasting cabbage, not too sweet nor too sour. The deserts were another miss. My pecan pie was factory made and my wife's layer cake was dry and stale. Their fried pork skins were just as obviously homemade. This was our highpoint. If you are hungry and driving by, we suggest you stop in and get some pork skins. This will tide you over till you can find a decent place to eat.

What a great BBQ in a small town. Old Clinton BBQ is conveniently located. Has an old fashioned atmosphere. BBQ is moist and delicious. Great for lunch and for dinner.
