Where do I start? I lived there and couldn't have been happier when I sold my place. It might have oat ne time been decent but it has fallen on hard times! There are foreclosures left and right. The management company is rude. They never return calls. Everything is breaking. I was locked in the complex tnumerous times because the gates broke. The halls smell like cat urine. I would save my money and buy/rent from a newer, better managed place. You will be happy you did! Take it from someone who knows.

If you are in your 20s or early 30s, then the River West Condominiums is the place to be. I bought my place about 4 years ago when I was in my mid 20s, and have no plans of leaving. With 2 pools (water volleyball in one of the pools), outdoor grills, beautiful landscaping, conciere service, clubhouse for entertaining, and out going neighbors, I am proud to call "The R W" home. As for the condos, most of them come with nice upgrades (granite counter tops, hard wood floors, 12" tile showers / bathroom flooring, and stainless steel appliances). A majority of the people I've met in this 213 unit space, grew up in small towns in the Midwest and have recently moved to the city.

Pros: Conciere Service, Location (near I-75 and I-285), 5 minute walk to the River and trails, the People

Cons: I would like to see the River West a little bigger (only 213 units)

I have lived at The River West Condominium since 2003 and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I would highly recommend it anyone in their 20s-30s. The River West is unrivaled in location, fun neighbors, affordability, on-site management, and luxury amenities to name a few.

I lived at the River West (RW) for 4 years, and although I got married and had to move, I can truly say that living there was the BEST time of my single life. There are some great couples living there too!! This is why I loved it so much: the environment is very safe, which was a concern of mine, being single; I wanted gated undercover or garaged parking since I was tired of fighting the weather to my car in an apartment; the building has secured entry, elevators and the interior is decorated beautifully; the units are upgrade with Granite, hardwoods, stainless steel appliances, tile and upgraded fixtures; there are two pools which were a blast to hang out at; the neighbors I met have turned into life long friends and while living there I never met anyone who wasn't friendly. The neighbors at the RW would get together on the weekends for cook-outs, grab a drink somewhere in Vinings, or visit each other for movies or help each other with an errand. The RW is under-rated when it comes to quality living for the price. I would move back there if I had to, but I wanted everyone to know what a positive experience I had there, in hopes that you might have the same experience, if you are in the market for a condo. My one bedroom w/storage unit #2309 is for sale and for anyone looking, you can't go wrong for the area. You are 5 minutes from Vinings, and literally 15 minutes from Buckhead, Downtown, Marietta and 20 minutes from the airport. Please visit the RW and see for yourself. You can go wrong living there.

Pros: First Class condos, gated comm., parking garage, two pools, workout room, centrally located

Cons: Honestly can't think of any!
