Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT bring your animal here if you truly care for him or her. I have a healthy, hardy and very sweet cat that needed to be shaved and Corker offered to do it.
When he came home, he was frightened, nervous and sore all over ( I noticed by how he was walking and how he would moan when I picked him up). He also gurgled when he attempted to meow as if he suffered damage to his voice box from being strangled. Possibly tied up by his neck wayy too tight. He was also severely cut with the trimmers on his leg near his belly. Talk about careless!
If I could give you no stars, I would, but I will make sure no one else has to watch their animal suffer and hurt like I did. SHAME ON YOU!

I have done business in the past with Dr. Corker no problems, not until the other day. I have 2 dead kittens now because this man could not diagonose my kittens properly i told him to run the test and he told me he was sure it was just allergies and not anything else. so we didnt do the heart worm test or the feline rhinotrachetis test. it turns out because of his wrong judgement that my kittens had the rhino virus. they were put to sleep yesterday because the other vet on south houston lake got the results right. I called Dr. Corker to let him know and all he could do was stammer, stutter said that i had never been to his business before, had his nurses or sugarbabies running around lookin for my records said they couldnt find them. I have all my documents and receipts from his office. Ill be filing a complaint to the BBB and have city hall see what they can do. This mans eyes were bloodshot red appeared to be drunk, slurred all his words, i was in and out of his office within 30 minutes after all the test were done. i knew something just wasnt right.I paid 115.00 for 30 minutes of BS. He told me on the phone he had been in busines for over 20 years, he told me to go to other vet for now on since he misdiagnosed my kittens. I urge anyone to think twice before going to him , i know the prices are cheaper at his office then most places but you get what you pay for there. Unfortunately my kids are without their 2 kittens who were both born on easter sunday of this year all because this man couldnt be professional enough. read the other reviews the shoe fits!!

Croker Animal Hospital Killed Me. My Name Was Ms Dottie Jones. Once They Thought They Would Get Paid For Overdosing Me I Died. They Had No Words When They Came And Picked Me Up From My Home After I Had Walked In To That Hospital I Never Walked Again. They Shot Me Up So Many Times I Had Seziuries And I Could Not Used My Back Legs. He Tormented Me For Hours Until He Sucked The Life Out Of Me. I Walked In For My Yearly Exam, Which This Would Have Been The Third Year Of Services And The Prices Went Up More Each Year. I Was In Good Health Just Like Mr Semmee Jones; My Brother Who Is Seven Years Old. I Would Have Been Three Years Old If I Had Not Went To Corker Animal Hospital. I Died March 10, 2012. What Do U Intend On Doing About The Death U Caused..Why Did U Kill Dottie? What Do U Want Me To Do About U Taking Her Life.

I took my cats there and he spayed one and said the other did not have a uterus. The one he spayed (in january) just had 5 kittens on April 26th. I am stuck with the bill for the spaying and now have 5 kittens to find homes for. I wonder if he switched the charts which also would be awful because then the wrong one got all the pain meds after surgery, and that means the one he couldnt find a uterus had one. Either that or he opened the cat up and forgot to spay her before closing her up. Those are the only 2 possibilities.

We've been taking our cats to Dr. Corker for years. It used to be that the place was always immaculate. Lately it isn't always as clean as it could be. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Dr Corker has always taken good care of our animals, given us good advice, and explained things to us well. His affect is fairly low which can seem like a lack of compassion, but his actions show otherwise. I can see why some feel he wasn't compassionate enough, but I know he has deep concern for the pets he serves.

I think they are trying to cut back on expenses, which is leading to some decrease in the quality if the facility. He no longer does emergency after hours or weekend care. He's been doing this for many decades and it makes sense that he's winding down. The people are as wonderful as they've always been. My cats like Dr Corker and his staff, and they know good people.

We had a rottweiler puppy with parvo, they sucked. we went up there everyday to visit him. His cage was never clean and it seemed like they just did not care. They were closed on days that they were supost to be open and we kept riding by all day just to see if anyone would come check on our puppy, and no one did. Guess what? He died on that day that noone checked on him, finally they opened again after calling ten times they finally answered this was a tuesday and our puppy died on saturday. I asked how is the rottweiler puppy was doing i was put on hold and old fart corker came on the phone and was just rude about how he said it he said in exact words "Puppy died!" i mean seriously i thought it was sorry to say but he passed, so then i asked when did he pass oh he passes saturday, three days went by and didnt get one phone call. THEY NEVER CALLED!

i have a laborder, his name was Chevy. My puppies back started off as two little scabs one at the top near his head and the other down towards his tail, lower back. Two days later those two scabs turned into a huge rip down his back, no fur, no skin and the smell of infection. we rushed him to the vet with no money in our pockets. at first he refused to see him without cash, but after assuring him our family was reliable he let us charge and did an excellent job my dog is now hilled and is growin his fur back. i jjust brought my rottweiler in hes very sick, hope to see same results!

We have been with dr Corker for several years now.A few weeks ago we took our yorkie to him because she had been sick for about a week.he worked on her for 2 days taking xrays. He told us she had tumor pressing next to her liver. Charged us $330 and told us she needed a sonagram a if something was not done she would die in about two
months. He refered us to the universty of Ga.During the wait for the appointment We were beside ourselves thining our special baby may die at 7 years of age.when we got to UGA they were great.they had her stay over night. When We got to UGA the next day they told us she had no tumors and a bladder infection was her biggest problem. We were thrilled that she was not going to die.however with all the test they did the bill was$1100.00. thanks to Dr Corker we spent a total of $1400 to find out she had an infection. He also told us she had a broken needle in her belly.Said it had been thier for sometime and should not be a problem.Well UGA never saw or found the needle. We will never take another animal to him again. I can never forgive him for his so called treatment and the hurt he caused us.His place smells worse than any vet I have been to.please find another vet Dr Corker is not the best.

Stopped using this Vet years ago when I took my cats in for worming and shots, more than once, and Dr. Corker confused the cats, tried to worm the same one twice, tried to give the same shots twice to the same cat. I use Dr. Dennard in Gordon, GA and have for now 16 years. Dr. Corker did not impress me, but I felt was dangerous to my animals.

Do NOT go to this vet. I really thing there's a racial discrimination thing going on up there. I took my rescued dog up there and said she needed her annual shots. You know what they did?grabbed like 6 shots and went nuts. They charged me $213.00 along w/ her heartworm meds which are NOT around $20.00 at that office like they are everywhere else. They charge an ARM AND A LEG for EVERYTHING. You can get your annual shots for around $100.00 for an adult or full grown dog. They just think it's awesome to rip us all off. I'm telling you, don't go there.Save around $100+++ by NOT seeing this vet.

Much to my dismay, I stopped at Corker animal hospital one day after work (w/script for my diabetic dog) the script was from another vet.in Gordan Ga. for insulin & needles. Even though i told them that my dogs vet. would be closed before i could get to them (45minute drive from there) thats why i always kept a script on hand God forbid something lke this ever happened !! By the way it was Vetsulin & vetsulin needles that i needed for her & you can't get them just anywhere only at a Vets office.I explained this to them and the (Doctor NEVER came out to say sorry blaa blaa blaa or any suggestions! ! The didn't care because I wasn't a regular !!!SHAME ON YOU & YOUR SO CALLED LOVE & COMPASSION FOR ALL ANIMALS ! I would of even paid for an office visit ! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU !!!!

I can't say enough about Dr. Corker and his staff. My pets have been coming here for years. I know that I can call or stop by unexpected and be seen quickly by Dr. Corker. He always works me in for an appointment. He knows my pets are my family and treats them as such. His staff are wondeful and have always treated me and my pets great. I'm from a small town and the atmosphere here is "small town friendly"! I've never ever considered changing vets. I'm happy and my two little shih-tzus are healthy and happy too!

Holly R. please quit practicing veterinarian medicine without a license. You may kill a dog with your advice. This is a warning on the heartgard insert PRECAUTIONS: All dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting treatment with HEARTGARD, which is not effective against adult D. immitis.Infected dogs must be treated to remove adult heartworms and microfilariae prior to initiating a program with HEARTGARD. While some microfilariae may be killed by the ivermectin in HEARTGARD at the recommended dose level. HEARTGARD is not effective for microfilariae clearance. mild hypersensitivity-type reaction, presumably due to dead or dying microfilariae and particularly involving a transient diarrhea, has been observed in clinical trials with ivermectin after treatment of some dogs that have circulating microfilariae.

I am an animal rescuer. I was contacted again today by a woman desperate to help a dog who wandered onto her property. She advised me she took the animal to Dr. Corker. The dog tested positive for heart worms. Dr. Corker advised her the only option would cost her between $600-$800 for treatment, otherwise she could watch the dog die. Why would you tell anyone a bold face lie? I am not a veterinarian. But anyone with half a brain would tell you the slow kill method works just fine over the duration of a year to a year and a half. This woman was so distraught. She wanted to do right by the dog, but could not afford treatment. Her husband even asked the vet if there was a monthly pill they could put the dog on, and the vet said, no you don't want to do that. WHAT?! Clearly I would not recommend this vet.

The staff are very friendly and Dr. Corker is very dedicated to his patients and those of us who bring them for his care. He remembers who we are and will return calls after hrs. Last week I got there right at closing on Friday (1pm) and they opened the door and spent 30 unrushed minutes checking out my little one. I have used them for years and have always been satisfied.

I got a Yorkie from a local animal shelter. She had been spayed several days prior, and required suture removal. She also had an eye infection. I wanted to find a local Vet, since I was in town temporarily for business.
I am very pleased with the service I received, not only did they offer office hours that fit my schedule, but they were very pleasant and instructive in answering all of my questions and the price was fair.
I would recommend anyone to this Vet.

We took my 2 year old cat to Corker Animal Hospital to be spayed. The front desk greeted us with a smile and immediately worked to put our cat at ease. The nurse's love and compassion for animals was obvious and made us feel good about leaving our cat with them. We returned later that day to pick up our cat after her surgery. They had pain medicine ready for her along with thorough instructions for caring for our cat. Our cat healed very well and is much happier since her surgery. I would recommend this vet to anyone. We will certainly return for our pet care needs!

my puppy had some sort of ear infection last year and it worries me to death everytime i saw him shaking his head and tapping his ear so we called the doctor even though he was off that day and he took really good care of my puppy. i really appreciate him for taking his time to go to the clinic to meet us even though they were closed that day.
