Where do I start....This place is a great option if you just need a day off shopping and time for yourself. The kids are great..But the setup is kinda weird. First, all the kids at are mixed together regardless of age, they watch Sponge Bob square pants on T.V. and that's a big NoNo for me....Shortly I started noticing roaches on the floor, and they serve kids the same foods everyday it seems like..and junk. Its far from clean and an exterminator needs to be called quick..one time I heard a infant teacher ask for bug spray..YUCK! On to the owners.. for the most part everyone seems laid back..and not too much of a problem. ..But Mr. Chris the owner has a very bad temper when he's mad enough and will in fact snatch property out your hands and call you a liar. This man raised his voice at me and started yelling at me as if I was a child when I was late picking up my son..(I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE ON ANYTHING, A PICKUP OR PAYMENT)..but this particular day I was because my watch that I just found in my couch was an hour wrong from day lights savings. I'm a single mom of course and I work very hard to support my child. My work shift is 4pm-12am, they close at 1am...around 1:40am my watch said 11-12am..at my job there is no clock and I'm not allowed to have a phone..also nobody tells you a shift is over..so I lost track of time. Once I realized the real time when I was about to leave, I immediately called to let him know I was sorry and I was on my way.. This man had a right to be concerned, but his manner of handling the situation was BEYOND unprofessional and rude. As soon as I got there he took my phone out my hand and told me I wrote down the wrong contact number (when in fact he just couldn't read it)...then he told me he didn't "BUY" my story of my watch being wrong...HE CONTINUED TO CALL ME A LIAR to my face...and couldn't believe that I could leave my son up there for 12hr...Since him and his wife are married..I guess he has no clue how single parenting with no help works.. We have to work to eat and as long as my son is safe..it shouldn't matter how long he's there (I PAY FOR IT)....This man should've kept his OPINION to himself..but after he got done with his tantrum, I still paid him then left...HE STORMED OUT THE BUILDING, GOT IN HIS BIG TRUCK AND SPED OFF LIKE AN IDIOT, HE COULD'VE HIT SOMEBODY AS HE TOOK OFF DOWN THE STREET!..what business owner does that?? How unprofessional...how rude.... When you own a business sometimes inconvenience comes with the territory, and he handled himself like a true maniac. Makes me wonder what he's capable of. Anyways... These are the things that I've witnessed.. My son did make good friends.. But as a paying customer, I want the people I pay to not call me a liar to my face. NO MAN SHOULD RAISE HIS VOICE TO ANY WOMAN AND MR. CHRIS DID JUST THAT! He presented himself as "Holier than thou", as if honest mistakes don't happen..He looked me in my face and told me "He lives in the real world", and he didn't "buy" my story! As a paying customer who has never been late..I deserved more understanding than what he gave me. I've never felt so belittled and insulted in my life. I'm a great mother and that's one thing someone should never play with. He didn't tell me that I can't come back, so that speaks volumes about me..but I don't want my son to be around a man with a firecracker temper that disrespects his mother. Chris or Jackie if you see this...While you point one finger at me...1000 fingers are pointing back at you and the ways you have. Chris no longer needs to be the one that stays until close, because he can't handle things possibly getting in the way of him leaving on time. These 5 star comments are not fully honest with what's really going on. Its overcrowded, unorganized, unhealthy, and some of the kids are out of control(my son did pick up some bad habits..such as rapping and pointing gun fingers)...thats from mixing children and watching any type of TV. This is a desperation situation not a permanent one.

So far so good. My 2yr old attends there and I have had no complaints yet. The staff is very friendly and seems to show some concern about my child. A good sign is how my son just walks right in without me having to force him and he never crys. It was not that easy at his previous daycare. I will not name the daycare but he literally scream everytime I dropped him off there. My experience has been great with A child's night out.

I've been going to A Child's Night Out since I was 3 years old, I'm 16 now and my mom used to work there from the time I was 3 till I was 13. I grew up at that daycare and I loved everything about it. I do still talk to some of the teachers that used to work there a long time ago. I loved all the people there and the field trips. I will never forget my times at that daycare and if I live in Georgia again one day and have kids, I will defiantly bring my kids there just because I know how well they treat the kids there and I grew up with all the teachers there. I trust them 100%

I had such a great time at "A Child's Night Out". I remember every Friday they would send us to Sparkles to skate our asses off. Lots of great memories and the people that worked there were the best. Does anyone remeber Sheila and David? I would love to get in contact with them. Please let me know. My email is Theycallmephilkbriggs@yahoo.com

Khalil, I don't know what you are talking about. I spent many, many years of my childhood at ACNO from the time I was 3 yrs old until the time I was 13. I am 25 now and I can honestly say that some of the fondest memories of my childhood were of my times at ACNO. Of course, I was a cool kid and counselor's loved me (hi to Jack, Gela, David and Kerry!!!), but I don't know if a single kid who didn't love it. My cousins also went there and my uncle is now using ACNO for my two little cousins. New owner's since I have been there, but the new owner used to be a counselor at ACNO and was trained by the old owner that I had before he left, so it is run exactly the same. Food is not so great, I will give you that, but the summer camp was awesome!!! All the other summer camp kids knew that ACNO camp was the coolest and did the best activities. Sparkle's roller skating, Beach Valley Park, American Adventures, the governor's mansion, the state capital, World of Coke, Sewell Park, even Brave's baseball games!!! If your considering ACNO, definitely try it! Your kid will love it! I know I did!!!

I have a four year old and a two year old and I've used A Child's Night Out three times, when I've been in a pinch. I've used them for about two hours at a time and my kids have been fine, my four year old said he had a lot of fun, I asked if any bigger kids hit him or were mean to him and he said no, they were nice and played with him.
I can't give a review for an entire day, but if you need a sitter for a couple hours it's been great for us!

...the more they stay the same. I was dropped off at A Child's Night Out the summer before my 10th birthday. There were a vast array of activities, plenty of other kids around, and the counselors/caretakers (semantics, I know) were friendly enough.

I heard from my 9 year-old cousin that things haven't changed, however. Once you drop your child here, you have the option of buying a meal. The food again is substandard, mostly (what I'd imagine to be) prison-quality navybeans and pork sausage in an unidentifiable sauce. I suppose profit is a profit, but if I wanted to pollute my child's inner organs, I'd do it myself with candies and fried foods that actually tasted decent.

Apparently, the number of children per counselor hasn't changed at 15 kids per adult. This number encourages the large number of incorrigible bullying; I was shocked to hear that 14 year-olds were still being left at ACNO even today. There is intimidation, physical threats, and no adult intervention because they are either a) too busy or b) unaware of such behavior.

I'm sure the management means well. But I'd rather leave a child in a room full of R-rated movies. At least the child can fend for him/herself watching Steven Seagal. Leaving your kid at this place is like entrusting your lamb to a pack of hungry wolves. Don't do it...unless your elementary school-son/daughter is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 lbs.

PROS: When adults don't notice you, you don't have to eat nasty franks 'n beans
CONS: Plenty of opps for experienced bullies to pound on you and get away with it
