My son was born at this hospital. My wife was induced. The induction started late for unknown reasons. The nurses we dealt with were okay. We were left with a student nurse many times for long periods of time. When my wife wanted pain medicine the nurse was hard to find. When she wanted an epidural again our "real" nurse was no where to be found. When she returned "after her break" she said my wife could not have an epidural because she "thought" she was too far along and went to get another opinion from another nurse. Needless to say, that was not a good experience. Our almost nine pound son was born very healthy and my wife is a good sport so all in all it was fine. We left 24 hours later. I will say I was impressed with the security of the hospital. Our second child was born at a different hospital. Again, my wife was induced but at this hospital the nurses checked on us a lot more often- she was able to get pain meds, an epidural, and we had a much nicer room. They even gave the baby it's first bath in our room. It was a much nicer facility and experience!

This hospital literally almost KILLED me! The doctor on call the night I went in is/was so stupid that he sent me home in the middle of an adrenal crisis. Had my husband and I not had more sense than the doctor I would have died. I sat in the waiting room for two hours even though they knew I needed medical attention immediately THEN I sat in the room for over an hour before anyone even bothered to come in and check on me. A total of SEVEN hours later is when I saw the doctor- Dr. Q (you will figure out who he is if you live here) who in a very cocky manner informed me that he knew about my medical condition and that I was just fine. As I said, I was NOT fine and the moron almost killed me!

I will NOT be going back there again and by the way, this is the second time with this same doctor at this same ER that I have had problems. I have a rare genetic disorder and a rare cancer that means doctors need to pay attention and do things right. He refused to listen to me or my surgeon.

Yes, I filed a complaint with the hospital and was told that since I didn't die they really weren't going to do anything.
