I also have received the run around from AS in Nashville. I ordered living room furniture in October 2009 and was told it would be in within one week. On the originally scheduled delivery date I was told my items were out of stock and wouldn't be in until the next week. I explained that I had to have the furniture by Thanksgiving and after being placed on hold forever they guaranteed me that it would be in within two weeks. Well, on the scheduled delivery date I received a call and was told the items were still out of stock and wouldn't be in until mid-December!!! That was it I canceled my order and went to Havertys.

In September 2009 I ordered a Juno 3pc living room special they were offering for Labor day. I was given 3 delivery dates. The first was the beginning of October, then the middle then a final delivery date of 11/3/09. It was definite that I was to get it because I confirmed the night before with the store. Apparently they claimed they called me on Nov. 3 stating that they received an order from overseas that they were not satisfied with and sent it back. So the store was either offering for me to wait another month or two or take an additional $200 to make a purchase. This is not what I wanted because there was nothing else in the store I wanted. I had been looking around everywhere and this is what I wanted. I am very disappointed with American Signature at this point. Especially the fact that the lied to me about the delivery date and then stated that the furnture is discontinued. Also I was sent a statement with a payment due for Dec. 5th and a payment book. I told American Signature to shove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In September 2009 we ordered a Juno 3pc living room special that had an deliver expectancy of almost two months. Today, October 17, I received a letter that the ordered merchandise was not going to be available and they would give us a store credit. The problem is that we already bought other furnishings to accompany that specific set. This is a set back since we have to re-think how our home is going to look since American Signature Warehouse sell merchandise they do not have and then try to sell you something else. This is extremely back business practices and I am looking forward to cancel my account with them.

Store manager is very condescending!!!!
I am very happy with the Salesman who sold and explained everything with the delivery of our furniture and the delay of our King Bed, He showed me when it was expected to be delivered and verified it with the office personnel. The furniture was delivered except the King bed which was due to go to your warehouse June 18th and delivered to me on the 19th. When I didn't receive a call verifying the delivery I called the store to make sure it was coming. After being on hold for about 5 minutes the store manager (Carlos Martinez)came on the line and sounded very condescending saying that the salesman neglected to tell us that it was an "expected date". And that the new delivery would be July 3rd. I paid for the furniture May27th and find this totally unacceptable. My new King box springs and mattress is ON THE FLOOR. After agreeing to ship us a temporary frame until ours comes in and refunding the the shipping costs, still does not negate his attitude. He says that there is no way we can get this frame any sooner. When I requested the corporate office phone #, he gave me 866-274-6638 which if you call it is a bogus #. I called back and got one of the office staff on the phone, who gave me 614-360-9922(not in Service) which angers me more. If Carlos just would have been more helpful and tried to "find" our King Bed in another store or distribution center, I would not be so angry. Please respond so I can cool off.

We went to AS for a bedroom set. A salesman met us at the door and showed us a set which was not exactly what we wanted, but looked fairly decent. Then I asked about the "Half Off Memorial Day Sale," and was told that meant half off equivalent furniture -- you have to look very closely at their sales ad to find this. Then, when he gave us a price for the set I remarked that it was much higher than the five piece sale price, I was told that the the bed was three pieces. That and a dresser and mirror makes up the five piece set. He told us that the furniture was solid oak, but it didn't look like oak, and by this time I couldn't believe anything the sleazy salesman said. I won't reward this type of heavy- handed marketing with a sale.

I purchased a 3 piece 100% italian leather living room set in a medium beige/tan color: couch, loveseat, and chair. I have had them for 5 months now and am actually incredibly impressed by the price, as well as for the look and durability that I received. I have three small kids and a large dog (with thick nails), these pieces have held up perfectly thus far. I also appreciate the dog hair free (and dirt free furniture) unlike furniture I have had in the past. I only paid $1099 for all three pieces combined, for 100% "italian" leather it was an amazing find. I could not be any happier with my purchase.

I just received the bedroom set I purchased from the store in Kennesaw, GA. I am so happy with the set I chose. There was some confusion about availability when I first ordered...but they got it straightened out and gave me an additional discount for the inconvenience. The furniture was delivered in a timely manner by 2 men who were wonderful and very professional. I purchased 6 separate pieces and they are each beautiful and without defect or flaws of any kind that I have found. I have been a customer @ ASF 3 times now and will definitely shop there again. I do not hesitate to recommend ASF to anyone.

I brought a sofa there in 2005. After it was delivered I noticed some flaws. I received nothing but the run around every time I called. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Finally after a month the came and got the piece of junk and refunded my money. The original sales person wasn't' even still employed there a week after my purchase. There stuff may look good and be reasonably priced but they are a bunch of shysters. BEWARE

Just received my new living room suite from AS in Knoxville yesterday. First , after selling us the furniture we could not get it delivered so had to pay almost $200 to rent a truck and have it delivered ourselves. Upon uncovering the furniture found out that 2 of the 4 pieces have damage. The sofa even has a 2-3 inch gap were the material wasn't even sewn. Called the store and talked with the original saleslady who was very nice but informed us that she could not help. Then spoke with the customer service guy, he suggested that I go to Walmart and buy some upholstory glue. When I told him about the multiple damaged places on the "wood" areas of the chaise lounge and sofa he told me he would give me a 10% discount on those pieces. When I explained that I did not want scratch and dent he said he was sorry but that was all he could do for me.

We bought a bedroom suite about two months ago from AS. Our sales rep took us right to what we were hoping to find and sold us on a great deal...or so we thought. As it was two months ago, I may be a little fuzzy on the exact particulars, but the store was offering a financing deal on items in the AS line. If you spend $1500 or more, they were offering zero down and no interest for 12 months PLUS a ten year warranty. Sounded good to us; so good, in fact, that we decided to order an additional piece to reach the $1500 mark. We were literally filling out the papers when a supervisor walked up to our rep and, without even acknowledging us, said that the deal didn't apply to the furniture we had selected because it wasn't included in the AS line. Now, we were pretty frustrated. We had spent well over two hours in the store (our 2 yr. old and newborn were in tote as well) and just as we're about to finalize the deal, this lady comes and pulls the rug out from under us. What really annoyed me was that she never offered us an apology and came no where close to admitting that this seemed a little like "bait and switch." My husband insisted that the store do something to make it right, and they wouldn't budge.
That was my first frustration. Several days after delivery, I noticed that one of the drawers was sticking pretty badly. I called today, and a service man is suppose to check it out next week. We'll see how that goes.

I am sorry to say that I have been stupid enough to go back more than once after making purchases with AS. It seems as though AS makes all kinds of promises they can't keep. They NEVER deliver when and what they say the will. There will ALWAYS be an issue with delivery. They will tell you that the item is in stock and then turn around and call the day before delivery (not giving enough time to look elsewhere) and tell you that there was a problem and all but something will be delivered. They tell you that you can ALWAYS add on the furniture that you purchase and then when you try, they can't do that anymore! The sales staff is pretty trained to say what they are told but very personable. At the end of the sale, should you decide to buy there, tell them you don't want to hear in a few days that there is going to be something missing from delivery. If that happens, threaten to cancel the whole order and DO IT! The Store Manager won't help either so don't bother complaining, she doesn't return calls!! Prices are good, but if you can't get what you want in the time you want it, why bother. This has happened to me as recently as this week (for my mother). We'll see what happens in this delivery today and add comments later! I'm done with them!!!

I have purchased furniture from A.S. for about 2 years now, and haven't experienced any problems. They have decent quality for a very low price. The best thing to do when having something delivered, is let them know you want to fully inspect it prior to them leaving, so they can take it back if it's damaged. Common sense. Out of all the furniture stores I have ever been into, the style of items in A.S. are beautifully designed and the prices are more competitive than anywhere. The staff is a bit shark like, but if you ask for the salespersons card when they approach you, and let them know that when you find something you will get them, they will back off and let you peruse. They are just trying to make a living, so allow them to help you! One time, our salesperson carried our 2 year daughter all over the store, and played hide and seek so we could pick out our items!

I found the perfect couch at American Signature. A cosmo cashmere loveseat/chaise. It was the right size the perfect shape and even though it was a little lighter shade than I originally was looking for since I had the Stainsafe put on it I was sure we would be OK. To my dismay the furniture was delivered dirty & damaged. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for someone to call me about having it inspected and either replaced or repaired. Each day I find something else wrong with it. Besides being dirty, the sectional clip won't stay fastened, all of the underneath lining is ripped out, there is a chip in the wood foot of the chaise and someone has cut the arm of the loveseat and the nap of the material looks like it has been burned. You never get a chance to really inspect the furniture properly before the delivery man leaves and even then he tells you to call customer service and they will take care of everything. Never again will I shop at American Signature.

I ordered a bedroom suit and when they delivered it, the footboard & top of the armiore were both damaged. I had to wait a week to have someone come out to inspect it to approve the replacement, then another week after that until they brought the replacements. I was looking over the replaced pieces and both pieces have cracks in them!!! I'm very frustrated with the fact that they obviously do not inspect the furniture well before delivering it. I'm now having to wait ANOTHER week to get the pieces replaced again! The furniture is beautiful, but I've been very disappointed in the quality of some of the pieces delivered, and I'm shocked that they would release those pieces without inspecting them. I spent way too much money on my furniture to receive damaged pieces.

one day on my day off, i went to american signature homes on barrett parkway just to pass some time till my class started. as soon as i entered 2 sales reps approached to me to ask if i was looking for something particular. i told them that i am just window shopping. so they left. when i started to walk around the store one of the reps was following me the whole time and bugging me to purchase something and if i did he will give me this "excellent" deal. i got so pissed i left the store.

I have never personally bought something from them, but have heard great things about their furniture. They have a lot of variety and different styles. They carry a lot of contemporary stuff that you can change the upholstery on tooo. Lots of accessories too.
