If you plan on staying at the Pagoda, never stay at the Terrace side of the hotel. The rooms are stinky like dead fish, the bathroom smells. The window louvers don't shut tight, towels are like 50 years old.

Ist night downstairs people was partying away with heavy drugs where the Marijuana would come straight into my room on the second floor. Late that night this lady got assaulted right outside my door around 3am by her boyfriend or husband.

2nd night kids were partying upstairs, we saw them carry in multiply cases of beer and liquer, late that night people where screaming names around 3 am, swearing and yelling profoundly.

3rd night, same thing, these people were screaming names, yelling, swearing and being loud and still no security.

We saw Military soldiers by smoking and partying in their room on the 1st floor when their is no smoking in the rooms allowed....

Never again am I staying here, maybe at the hotel is ok, but the Terrace side is just GHETTO....

Pros: none

Cons: Domestics, Drugs, Late night Parties, No Security, Section 8

Place could use a facelift, but still a great place for good, affordable buffet meals. Been to several weddings and the banquet service is nice too. Friendly staff always make guests feel welcome and at home.

Rooms are clean and maintained and the staff is nice. While the parking is a little bit of hassle since you have to park across the street, this location is ideal.

It's situated away from the crowds of Waikiki and close to Ala Moana Center. If you can forgoe the glitz of Waikiki and their fancier hotels, this is a great place for families with kids.

If you don't want to be in the high tourist area of Waikiki, the Pagoda Hotel is convieniently located close to the Ala Moana Shopping Center where most of the bus routes originate.

It is dingy, in need of some remodeling, and just feels dirty. I had two showers without hot water. The window air conditioner could not cool the room, and it just felt stuffy. The towels are thin and rough, the sheets feel old.

I went to a party at the Pagoda Hotel and the food and service was great and delicious. They had lots of choices and the money is worth it. There dining hall was very private and close to the outdoors if you needed to get some fresh air. I recommend this hotel for a party.

Pagoda restaurant attracts a lot of business because of one unique feature-it floats! But this is not the only great feature about this restaurant. Enjoy a wonderful brunch-one of Hawaii's best- while enjoying the beauty of coi fish swimming about the ponds. Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere-great for the family!

This place has awesome food and th restaurant is what I am familiar with. Most ho have stayed at the actual hotel tend to not like it but I have never stayed so I would not know. One of the best parts about the dining is that it is surrounded by this mote type thing where the restaurant is like in the middle of a pond. In the pond huge koi fish swim around and its really nice. The restaurant's ambience is also really nice and clean. I like this place and mostly its a buffet place and rarely to any of the costumers order off the menu.

I like this hotel because the front desk staff are outstanding in my opinion. Even though this is a budget hotel, it offers basic amenities like a pool in the hotel and across the street, a small convenience store on the ground floor, and many large department stores nearby such as WalMart, Daiei, Ross', and the Ala Moana Center. The front desk staff is very accommodating and helpful.
