Horrible experience
by Anonymous
When I was trying to put my name on the list, I was very rudely greeted by the host's "Hi help ya in a minute kay". I waited for about five minutes, and it seemed that the host had forgotten about me since she was helping people who came after me. In the buffet, my male server seemed very rushed and didn't take time to really talk to me, except to get my drink order and rush away. I did not even get his name. not personable place at all. took about twenty minutes to get my drinks from the bar. By the time I got my Pina Colada, it was already melted, watery and disgusting. In the end, I was just waiting for my check for about 20 minutes with only a drink and no food on the table. Server didn't get the hint, I rushed to the front to pay, he ran yelling after me as if I were trying to run out. Not the most enjoyable experience, I would not recommend going by yourself since they will be rude and suspect you are trying to get a free meal.

I love that it is buffet style, because I can pick and choose what I want to eat, and how much of it. The last time I went I didn't even make it to the hand rolled sushi, I got stuck on the tempura and other items! The desserts are good, but the buffet is the reason to go.
They are a tad overpriced, but the food is good enough that I continue to eat there!

Todai has very delicious food, lots of variety. It is a buffet all you can eat. If it is your birthday your meal is on the house (with one paying adult), all you need is an ID. They have everything from sushi to crab legs. The foods, deserts, and service all great.

Its nice here but price is a little bit high for the Buffet. This is mostly a Buffet place. Its a known fact that on your birthday they will give you a free buffet if you are accompanied by a paying person. This is probably the best deal you can get. However, it must actually be your birthday on the day you go. You can't for wait for a Saturday you have to go on your birthday to actually recieve this deal. Also, they check for ID.
Go during lunch because lunch and dinner are basically the same except they charge more for the dinner.

Todais has bite sized pieces of all kinds of Japanese food. There are handrolled sushi at the sushi bar, freshly made saimin and udon at the saimin station, also a tempura station.
