I've never been here my BFF's husband's family owns this place. Everyone I've talked to said the same thing -- they have the best poke and plate lunches in town!! I heard this place is small (more like a take out place) but there are a lot of cool areas you could stop at (Poipu beach, Spouting Horn area) to enjoy your poke or plate lunch.

Located a few doors down from the supermarket in Koloa, the Koloa Fish Market offers very fresh fish and good varieties of poke. We bought ahi to grill and it was excellent. Prices were very reasonable (about the same as the supermarket) and service was fast and friendly. One thing to note, they only take cash.

The food at this market is reasonably priced. What we especially like is the seared ahi and smoked marlin. Aside from selling fish, they also sell "plate lunches". There is ample free parking on the street. Although I've had delicious meals from this market, the food is not always consistent. Sometimes it's nothing special.

It can be crowded in the tiny space that they have. Sometimes the customers spill out on the road. But you don't have to wait too long.

The meat is so fresh and ready to grill! If you have access to a fire pit or BBQ this is a must!! Prices are very affordable and great selection! I visit Kauaii at least once a year for 1-2 weeks each visit and make at least a few trips to the Fish Market each time. Interesting poke!!

This is a good place to pick up fresh fish to cook at home, as well as the popular local-style plate lunches, with rice and a variety of meat and fish entrees offered daily. The seafood is super fresh, and the sashimi and poke (assorted…
