.

Three of the original buildings of the Sandwich Islands Mission headquarters still stand: the Frame House (built in 1821), the Chamberlain House (1831) and the Printing Office (1841). The houses are authentically furnished with handmade quilts on the beds, setees in the parlor and iron pots in the big stone fireplaces. The coral-block Chamberlain House was the early mission storeroom and the Frame House, as it is now called, is the oldest wooden structure in Hawaii. This is a must-see museum for visitors interested in the history of the missionaries in Hawaii.
