I have had bad experiences with Volx German and will not be back. They are overpriced, tell you that you need things you don't need, and do not fess up when they make mistakes.

First, they left out the drain plug on the transmission on my daughter's VW Cabrio when "servicing" it. The fluid leaked out and the transmission was ruined, and this was after $1500 worth of replacing "gaskets" in the transmission. They would not admit a thing, and then they offered to rebuild the transmission for $4200, twice the going rate.

Volx German said I needed $850 worth of brake work on my other car. For what I asked? Pads, rotors, master cylinder, ?kit.? The brakes seem to work fine to me, but it had been awhile since I had the back done. I found a great freelance mechanic, who looked at it and, indeed, all it needed was pads in the back ($45 plus labor), everything else was fine. No warping on the rotors, no master cylinder issues. Nothing.

Go elsewhere. Learn from my misfortunes...
