En Fuego used to be my favorite spot to eat. i use to go there three to four times a week. The beer batter fish, fresh garlic ahi, and spicy garlic chicken were among my favorite. I've tried almost everything on the menu, even the hawaiian food. they were all good and although the cost was a little high, it was worth it.

up until about a year ago, the servings got a little smaller and the fresh garlic ahi didn't taste the same and it sure wasn't as fresh as it used to. You can order the ahi seared, medium, or well done but if it's not fresh i'd think twice about ordering it half cooked. i now visit them maybe once every two or three months.

the place looked run down from day one. i thought they would at least clean it up or make it more welcoming for customers to dine in since they seem to be doing well. but i guess not... if you decide to dine in i would try to get seating outside. inside feels like you are eating right next to the oven, hot, and humid!

Pros: decent food

Cons: not a very good place to dine-in

has a nice variety of plate lunches there a little more pricey then normal but the food is better quality. building seems to be hot every time I go in there, it could use some A/C. not a bad place for a quick meal

Almost everything on the menu is fantastic - recommend the spicey garlic chicken, furikake salmon or the seared ahi sandwhich. My friend always orders the Mochiko Chicken, so it must be good too. Don't be afraid of the brown rice - it is soft instead of crunchy. The dressing on the tossed salad is good too. The desserts look great, but never tried. Have my eye on the green tea cheesecake for the next visit.
The atmosphere is very casual (think McDonalds), so take-out is a better option unless you don't mind the t.v. and loud environment. The tables don't seem to be wiped down much either - usually sticky w/mess.
But, the food and customer service makes-up for that - you won't be disappointed. I visit here a few times a month for lunch take-out and the food is always consistently good.

Pros: Fish, Poke, Customer Service

Cons: Dirty Tables, Loud (Take food with you)

They have the best garlic chicken that I have ever tasted. It cost a little more than a plate lunch from anywhere else, but it is worth every penny. I have already recommended this place to all my family and friends. Awesome food!
