I came here several times for surgeries and for other procedures. The hospital is alright, not world-class, but decent. Once I stayed for a week and was well taken care of. The nurses are very friendly and accomodating. I really liked my room which was a private room so I didn't have anyone else in the same room which was a relief because it was very quiet. Their food is pretty good and they have cable TV.

I delivered my baby there last year via repeat c-section. I was most displeased that they do not allow VBAC deliveries. My doctor (who regularly delivers there) made me sign a contract before receiving treatment stating that I wouldn't try a VBAC and said it was because the Medical Center is not staffed to handle an emergency c-section if the need should arrive.
As for the employees, I was happy with most of my nurses, although the night crew was VERY unfriendly. I was very unimpressed that the hospital didn't give us a temporary parking pass to park close to the hospital when it was time to go in for my c-section--I had to walk across the street from the parking lot, and I wasn't happy about it, especially since I was 9 months pregnant and on bedrest.
