I just bought the DVD featuring Dog and his (beautiful) family apprehending several wanted suspects. Not only did I truly feel a connection to each and every one of these talented, compassionate people . . . but I was struck by how important it is to embrace Christianity in our every-day dealings with others. As I watched this lovely family go about their all-important missive for our society, I saw that they were helping not only those of us in society who abide by the ""norms"", but also those troubled people who habitually stay in one difficult situation after another, and that they helped them to turn their lives around. I literally cried during the ""save the dogs"" episode, but not in a bad way. As an avid animal lover (and rescuer, myself), I saw that reaching out to those who many of us would deem ""unworthy of empathy"" can actually turn an otherwise wasted life around. My own life hasn't been very happy lately, but when I feel really down, I know I can watch this DVD and get a renewed sense of purpose, a wider sense of empathy toward others, and a renewed belief in the possibility of redemption in my fellow man. When I start believing that everyone is ""bad"", I can tune in and see what a huge difference the Chapmans have made. It lifts me up. I chuckled when I heard Dog say (in regard to the family's children . . . that they ""keep making them"" ). Considering what beautiful humans these Chapmans are, I think that is a good thing! Anyway, thank you so much for being a lovely Christian family, and for sharing family moments with us. I wanted to hug those darling children when they were excitedly playing with their new rabbits. God bless you for teaching gentleness for those who are vulnerable. I am such a fan, and I wish you all the very, very best! Rhonda
DOG YOUR SHOW IS WONDERFUL I WATCH EVERY EPISODE I USED TO BE ADDICTED TO DRUGS RUNNING FROM HOME IN FOSTER CARE ALL KINDS OF TROUBLE AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE THEN WATCHING YOUR SHOW I FOUND WHAT I WANTED TO DO IN LIFE IM 23 ALMOST A CERIFIED FUGIVE RECOVERY AGENT I BEEN CLEAN FROM METH FOR 5 YEARS WITH NO RELAPSE YOUR SHOW HAS HELPED ME ALOT IM VERY GRATEFUL MY FIRST BOUNTY IS FOR U AND YOUR FAMILY .... THANK YOU ALL
Look, I love the concept of playing hard ball to catch felons and then helping them if possible, but now that they have a show, they need to improve English. At least 20 times a show, someone say's ""Where is he at? , Where is she at?, where is their house at?, Do you know where I can find him at?, etc..."" Stop adding the damn at. It's red neck and for people that did not graduate high school. Kids look up to your family, so practice using proper English.
If you want to know where someone's car is, then simply say.
Where is the car? or
Do you know where the car is? (Not is at).
3 generations of a family and you still don't get it. Buy a grammar for dummies book. Catch those criminals when you can find where they are (not they're at).
i think your show is the bomb and that you should be on more often. and beth keep going girl i love that you keep them in check. thanks for the entertainment.
I read some of these reviews from the Fans of ""Dog The Bounty Hunter "" and I was disappointed at some of the postings so out of respect and love for the Chapman Family and their popular tv show and successful bail bonds business I'd like to express a few words to the disappointed fan that wanted picture taken on the property of Da Kine Bail Bonds. The Chapmans work very hard to keep the community safe and and in addition they serve as role models for millions of fans abroad. Visiting Hawaii is a wonderful experience... I too have been to Honolulu twice and just adore it. I too am a huge fan of DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER on A&E TV ... however... I respect the Champans privacy as they are doing a job which is often dangerous and they put themselves in harms way. Some people may see them as celeberties because of their tv show... but in reality their jobs require them to put themselves in dangerous situations to keep our streets safe... much like our police officers , fire fighters, and first responders to 911 situations! For ""anyone"" to show up as a ""tourist"" and/or ""fan"" on the private property of the Chapmans Family business ""DaKine Bail Bonds"" seems to me to be very disrespectful and distasteful. Furthermore... to see that a disappointed fan has posted his negative thoughts about his experience from being removed from the property of DaKine Bail Bonds is selfish and thoughtless considering that his only intention of being on the Chapmans Business Property was to get photos taken with The Chapman Family. I hope anyone who reads this posting who may be thinking of visiting Da Kine Bail Bonds just to meet the Chapmans and/or Dog The Bounty Hunter would reconsider their intentions and respect the Chapman Family and give them the privacy they deserve. I too am a huge fan of Dog The Bounty Hunter... but lets take into consideration that they are a family that goes after criminals to make arrest... so they must live in fear that any visitor to their property may seem to be a threat to their safety considering what they do for a living. Let's all admire the Chapmans from our homes on television and NOT impose of their private lives or work careers. There are plenty of events scheduled for fans to meet the cast of ""DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER""... so in the future my best advice would be to plan to attend one of those events rather then to interfear with their work at Da Kine Bail Bonds. To the man who posted negative thoughts about the Chapman Family because he was removed from their business property ... you shouldn't take it so personal... you totally imposed on their work environment and most likely were perceived as a celeberty stalker! The 200th Episode was fantastic... I wish The Chapman Family all the best in the future and look foward to another 200 new episodes in the future. Thanks for risking yourselves to keep the criminal off of our streets... thanks for your love and compasion... and to that disgruntal FAN... where mercy is shown mercy is given. WE LOVE YOU DOG...
My fiancee and I watch Dog every time it is aired and would really love for our children to meet him , we believe that he has great moral values and we try to teach our children as dog would teach his own ...... Dog if you happen to read this we would really love to meet you and your family , could you see what you can do to help to make it happen....... thank you in advance and thank you for providing the services that you do to help keep our lives safe and secure
dog if u read this i need your help please email me at jfeduccia@yahoo and i will explain this life or death. thanks john from indiana
Do not use there service. They were the first to show up on my google list so I called and a girl named Jennifer answered. They acted all friendly and assured me that they would do everything they could help. They WASTED 24 hours of our time. They never posted bail for anything. She refused to drive to Halawa or !!!!! They refused to drive anywhere else but the convienent for them down town station to release the person that needed to be bailed out. He was being held at OCC for a traffic warrant and she said she was ""to busy"" to go down and post his bail AFTER I had already paid them. I paid 15% of the bail for them to do this job. it was a matter of some paper work and a short drive down the road to turn in the paper work. Since she did do me the favoe of returning my my money (by mail, not person) I found someone who went directly to OCC and bailed out my friend within 4 hours! That is they way the job should have been conducted in the first place. Big deal they have a tv show! If they don't help out people who are paying them to do a service in the first place then what's the point of your entire business! Now my friend will lose his space avery hard to get treatment facility because of their la dee da attitude. I am very dissapointed. Had they said they were too busy to deal with this in the first place I wouldn't have such a negative review of them. Don't except someones money and waste everyones time when you don't want to make any effort or have any compassion for the families who are trying to get someone the help they desperately need. If there were negative stars I would have gave them that.
Da-Kine Bail Bonds is a BUSINESS. The owners of that business also happen to film a television show about that business there. If you do not require their bail bonds services or are part of their filming crew or have been personally invited, then you really don't belong there.
What made my trip unique, to DaKine Bail Bonds, is that they were filming their lives on the day I happened to be there. Some of the people told me to stand in a certain area to get a pic or maybe even Dogs autograph. How many people get to goto Hawaii to see their favorite person on TV?Anyhow, I was all of a sudden escoted off the property like a DOG, for no reason. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I am a Assistant Chief of a Fire Department, Im a member of a fire board for the county for which I reside and a well known community volunteer.I was treated like a criminal for being a FAN!! I was told they wanted no pictures taken of them and they wanted PRIVACY??Privacy??What is the show about??Isn't there cameras in your face all day long??You people are truly disgusting and have changed my opinion.I left my number at the store to see if I could get an explanation as to why I was treated like a criminal??But, no response..I guess their to busy with the cameras following them and too worried about their privacy...lol JOKE...I will never support people that act like this....A SHAME..VERY DISAPPOINTING TO HAWAII !!
Pros: Lady in store was nice!
Cons: NOTHING ELSE
I think that Da Kine Bail Bonds is the best bail bonds in the world one reason is that they are fair and of course the one and only one Dog The Bounty Hunter works there I also want to work for them them when I am older and Beth is a sexy woman
The family deffinatly draws major attention to the comapny. After all they are on a TV show. I think they are pretty good and the job done rite!...(leland works very hard>he he)
Da-Kine Bail Bonds is a good bail bonds to work with. I have not used them my self but from what I see on TV they show the compassion and the willing to help no matter who you are and what you did. I would love to have the chance to work with them. I am on of there fans and I have my own thing one there website. I am crimewatch5591.
Pros: The way that they work
Cons: What are the drawbacks?
