What better way to end a trip to the North Shore than with a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The PCC is about as authentic of an island experience as you will get, the students who are working there are actually from the countries they represent and you are not only having a great time but you are supporting them getting an education. It is a little pricey but well worth it. Both the villages during the day and the nightshow after dark are lots of fun so be sure to leave enough time for both!

I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and always took my visitors to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a great cultural experience. Don't skip the night show; it's the best way to see a sampling of all the polynesian islands represented at the center and it's a lot of fun. Go to the Samoan village to learn how to husk a coconut and get some good laughs. Definitely a good way to spend a day in Hawaii. The luau is one of the most authentic you will get on Oahu.
