This place has a fantastic view and great atmosphere. You overlook the ocean and you do pay for the view. Our breakfast for was near $50 but the food was tasty.

I'm all about fresh food and mellow location and Longhi's has both.

I definitely prefer the tables with a view- but the food is always delicious and so are the drinks.

It's a really fun place to stop when you're strolling around Lahaina.

Gabrielle Longhi was my wedding coordinator and also catered my wedding on Maui. The food was absolutely delicious. I still think of the fish she served.

This is a terrific seafood restaurant that has been in Lahaina a long time. The food never disappoints - check out their daily specials. Kid friendly. Full bar and good wine selection. They are on the mauka (inland) side of Front Street which is unfortunate, but get a table upstairs and you can see the ocean and Lanai from there. Very friendly and attentive staff. Try them out for breakfast too.

This place was, in a word, gross. We, a week and a half into our vacation, were looking for some comfort Italian food. A nice, big plate of pasta, maybe even with some fresh seafood thrown in. It seemed crowded enough. We now know, though, that crowds really have nothing to do with quality. Our waitress was nice, but weird. Weird's ok when you've got good food on your plate. That was not the case here. I had mussels and linguine and my husband had some cannelloni dish. Suffice to say, I didn't eat the mussels after the first one, and there was barely any linguine in the plate. There was tomato juice, but not tomato sauce. My husband ate about half of his plate before we decided to leave without dessert. Maybe we asked for it looking for good Italian in Hawaii, maybe we're spoiled New Yorkers. But he got a stomach ache, and I haven't had a mussel since. (By the by, I tried to give this place no stars, or even half a star, but that's not an option. It should be, especially in a place like this.)

Pros: The view? (But then, every restaurant on the strip has one.) Then no, no pros.

Cons: Everything, especially the view.

Longhi's is a sort of amusement park ride of a restaurant, a place where the scene is at least as interesting as the food. Unbelievably popular and successful, Longhi's has been a Lahaina landmark for 30 years now. It gets a lively crowd…
