Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Ktchn

The wait is long but the food is worth it. I always order by phone and it is ready when i arrive and i take it to the local beach and enjoy the outdoors. The people were very friendly on my several visits.

We went on a suggestion from a friend and the pancakes were very good but the service was not friendly, and although it was busy there is no excuse for being rude. We had to get our own utencils and when we told the waitress that she just shrugged it off. If you get a good server I think the experience would be much better, maybe we caught her on an "off" day...

Get the macademia nut pancakes, you won't be sorry. Soooo goood. They serve all the Hawaiian classics, portugese sausage fried rice, kahlua pork, etc. etc. We make sure to visit every time we go to Hawaii.

Not worth the rudeness the cooks, lady at the register, though she could be make by now since she was old the last time we went there over 5 years ago. It's so cramped and Hawaii people nowadays are momona nui like the cook and that old kepani/haw'n makule wahine.

The waitresses were cute and petite and the only nice ones there. So the food is good but give me a break it's not orgasmic fine. I guess I don't really need to spend good hard earned money on people who wouldn't give you the time of day ordinarily. Don't cross the Ko'olaus just to go there, but Kailua has so many more places to eat and then there's Koa's pancake house in Kaneohe on Kahuhipa St. Their crowded too, I think they even break the fire codes but the people are 1000x's nicer even if they are from the P.I.

Boots & Kimo's is small and quaint, so be prepared to wait a little while. The food is well worth the wait! Remember to order the banana macadamia nut pancakes, they're delicious. They also serve portuguese sausage, spam and other hawaiian regulars, everything on the menu is good!
