I have been going to this theater for the 50 cent movies which has since changed to a dollar movie which I am still willing to pay. The one gripe that I have about the multiplex is that some of the theaters are really cold while the others are fine. I don't know how their vent system works but it would really help to try and not make us into freezer pops. Other than that, I think that the movies offered are great as they usually come out at the latest about a month after being released for the general cinema audience.

Restaurant Row Theaters was perhaps the major theater complex in Honolulu until a newer bigger one was built a few blocks away when the renovated the Ward Shopping complex. Its situated in a place called Restaurant Row by Aloha Tower by the beach in a shopping/restaurant complex across from Compusa. Since the new larger theater took away so much business, this theater complex decided to just show slightly older movies all the time for $1.
Generally you can see movies right after their initial run at theaters still playing in this complex for $1 a movie. It still has the usual popcorn and hotdogs for sale at the counter and is a very cheap alternative to a costly night out at the other theaters where newer movies are playing. The individual theaters are the avg, relatively small in size.
