Joe's is nice restaurant that is definitely on the pricier side. The location, adjacent to the Wailea Tennis Club, is nothing to speak of so don't expect a nice view. The food was very good. I did not have the meatloaf, which is described as a house specialty, but my two teenage sons did and were not disappointed. It's a bit of hike from the parking lot to the restaurant (uphill after your meal), but there was a golf cart available to ferry people back and forth if you were not inclined to walk: not sure how well this would work if things were busy.

I also had the meatloaf and it is awesome. I had a meatloaf sandwich with this type of spicy stake sauce on it and man it was good. Great experience here.

Even if you don't like meatloaf, you should get the meatloaf...it's that good. If, however, you can't stomach the idea of meatloaf, there are still plenty of other things there that my dinner group tried: all of which were good. They have salads, fish, ribs, prime rib, etc. And it's all enclosed in a Tahoe-esque restaurant next to the Tennis center. I've been going to Wailea for four years now, and this is my new favorite restaurant (even though it's about 20 years old).

PROS: Great Food, Good Bar, Moderate Prices
CONS: none

Joe is the Joe Gannon of Haliimaile General Store fame; his wife is chef Bev Gannon. This smallish, open-air bistro located above the tennis courts at Wailea is an escape from hotel food. The Gannons, who were once in the entertainment…
