Molokai Museum and Cultural Center is focused around the R.W. Meyer Sugar Mill which was originally built in 1878. The mill shows the stages of creating sugar from sugar cane. the museum and cultural center focuses on preserving Hawaiian handicrafts like quilting, lauhala weaving, and woodcarving and other Hawiian crafts. The idea here is to share and revive the arts of Hawaii. I would recommend this museum to visitors that want to learn about Molokai's sugar cane industry and its past.
