This is your typical University Bookstore; have all the school pride gear you'd want, have 99% of the textbooks you need, and of course the high prices to go with them. Also, similar to other university bookstores, they want to buy your book back at a MUCH reduced rate even if it's perfect condition, or they don't want to buy it back at all. I would highly suggest using www.bigwords dot com for both buying and selling. Similar to other websites, they compare prices but this one will actually compare prices that different places will buy them back for. Oh, plus they have prices to rent the textbooks too which is sometimes cheaper, not always but sometimes.

Anyway, back to the bookstore, it's nice and clean and there is plenty of staff around if you need help. I was doing a bit of comparison shopping and they got a little ticked with that but hey, what can you expect, I'm a poor college student.

I think they either have or used to have a cafe in the upstairs portion but I've honestly never seen it open.

Oh, and they have a HUGE education section for all grade levels if you're going into teaching. A lot of learning aids and stuff like that.

Obviously, if you're a new college student, that will be the first place you usually go to buy your books the first semester. I would strongly recommend you go in and check it out but first get onto their website, check out the books you need and do some comparison shopping before you go in. I saved a TON of money by doing that.

Pros: Generally have all the textbooks required, Textbook Reserve,

Cons: Expensive, Expensive, Some staff don't want to be there.

It's a very nice business. Newly renovated a few years ago. The offer a wide variety of products including, things for the home, clothes, cards, magazines, books, textbooks. The textbooks are insanely pricey, but you'll get that on any University. Their clothes are nice and you can always find something to support the Panthers! You can mail things at customer service which I have utilized many times. I definitely need to go buy some memorabilia before I graduate! I've scheduled two meetings for a nonprofit at the book store conference room and they are always very willing to work with us for no price. good business.

Like all college bookstores, this one is too expensive. The books are overpriced and so are the school supplies, down to the notebooks and pencils. Most college bookstores have reasonable deals on software prices, but since UNI doesn't have a large enough student population to get the good deals on software, they hardly save anything from purchasing the academic version here.

This place has quite a selection of books for both school and day to day books. The staff is friendly and parking is not a problem. They have a lot to choose from for homeschooling items. UNI wear and gear is also featured here so if you are looking for something specific to wear to cheer on the local team then this is the place to look. They also have an area to grab a coffee or snack.

The store has every supply a student may need for classes, although the prices are very high. If it is an emergency, or you have no trasportation off-campus, the bookstore will do.

Every book for every class is out and accessible for students to pick up and look at. Prices are a bit lower than similar sized campus stores, but you can get ISBNs to look other places.
