Super Skate

I took my daughter skating for the first time at Super Skate a few weeks ago. I hadn't been to a Skating place since I was young and lived in Dubuque. I would have to say she had a blast but I was shocked how nasty the place was. Looks like they haven't taken care of the place in years. You would think it would be nicer for the amount they charge for everything.

I was very excited to take my child have a party at the place that I had grow up, for her birthday party. However, I felt it was very disorganized. There were no places to put the gifts as they had four parties at the same time with limited space. There was not an organized or designated areas the kids and parents could put their coats and shoes to make it easier to locate. Super skate did not open the doors until the time the party was suppose to start... not leaving any orientation time for the parents to get organized. No specific "coach" was assigned...there by requiring the parent having to answer the same questions over and over again. Although my party had fun...makes it difficult for the parent to feel at ease during the party.
