It was a shock and a heartache to learn of Dr. Stark's death. I'm thankful that he was so good at hiring the best partners and staff who will be able to carry on.
So many times over the years I brought in strays who were then treated at cost by Dr. Stark before being taken to the shelter. And with my own animals he was so kind and patient and everyone of them was "beautiful". More than once he came to his office late at night for my babies and was nothing but sweet about it.
My condolences to his family, his staff, and all who admired him as I did.

Dr. Stark and his staff are the best in town! I have been talking my pets there for almost 15 years and will continue to for the next 15 years plus!

Where to being? Okay first I have always taken my cat to Colonial terrace for years not thinking to much of this because she is healthy and was always routine visits. Until we bought a new puppy! Whole different set of rules with dogs. First visit was the routine puppy care, then we went onto the puppy kindergarten which I recommend for first time owners. I was clueless to how dogs interacted with each other. Then the unexpected happened to Roy. My daughter picked him up and he wiggled out of her arms and started yellping and I scooped him up and off we drove to the vet! Once there ( and I was crying) we found him to have a broken foot. They scooped him up and off to surgery he went. Within 2 hours they called and he was out of surgery. 6-8 weeks later he was the old Roy we knew and still love. Roy turned 1 years old 3-17-06 and 3-20-06 he was taken to surgery once again for a FHO hip surgery. Today is 3-21-06 and he is at home resting and on a slow road to recovery to himself once again. We are hopefull that everything will work out and he will run and play and chase his sister Rubie soon. Without the loving care and expertise of Dr. Stark, and Dr McClary and all who took such great care of my baby boy I dont know where we would be! They took great care of him and I am sure everything will be fine down the road when he is completely healed. Thank you all so much for your hard work and loving Care with Roy!
