Potter's Obsession

I never knew you were here in Cedar Rapids. We just got back from vacation in Door County , WI. and there was a place there called "hands on" that was just like what you have to offer with pottery etc. Now that we know you are right here in our hometown, we will definitely be looking you up, and trying you out! Potters offers a wide selection of pottery that you can decorate in the store. Then they fire the pottery and you pick it up later. It is nice that they have lower priced statues for children to paint. My kids have enjoyed painting their own unicorn and dog.

Potters Obsession does get in seasonal items. So they have pumpkins etc for Halloween and snowmen etc for Christmas. Also they do children's birthday party packages.

Birthday parties are offered here at this location. It can get a bit pricey to paint the ceramics, but the kids do have a lot of fun doing it. There are different price ranges of items to stick with when doing a group party.

There are plenty of tables to sit at and paint your pieces. The staff are very friendly and willing to help out.

PROS:
CONS: The bill racks up quickly.
