I too used this place for a loan and the girl (manager) was just rude and always has an attitude. Like we are in competition or something. LOL! I am always nice and they just act like I'm a horrible person. I was late on a loan because of a family emergency and called them. They cashed the check and everything was cleared fine. SO, sorry for the incovenience but it's paid. Anyway, the next time, she denied me. What the heck..... Just poor customer service and doubt she would treat older people with disprespect. I think that manager is a really mean and jealous peron. Not sure why but she just looks you up and down. The other girls are usually nice enough. I never once had an attitude. Just smiled and said ok.... I will never go back and dont suggest anyone to!

My boyfriend and I called Hometown to find out everything we needed to get a loan from there. After gathering what we were told was everything we went up there and tried to get a loan. Low and behold we didn't have everything needed. We were told we needed to get his last three pay stubs and his ID. The so called manager then told us when we got up there that he needed a check, but he didn't have an account in is name so we went up to the bank and put his name on my bank account. We took my checks and something showing his name was now on my account. Then she tells us we need a bank statement of the past 30 days. By then I was getting a little irritated with her and I'm sure you could tell this from my behavior- nothing rude or disrespectful though. I was just a little short with her and asked why she didn't tell us all this to begin with. She of course denied her responsibility in our fiasco. We finally got a loan. Well, just two days ago we needed another loan. We go up there and she is the one that helps us. Just to let you know, we were late on our last loan and had fees to pay. She started off our interactions with attitude and I suppose I was friendly, but I'm the customer, right? I guess I set down the check and pen a little harder than normal on the counter and she tells me, "if you don't want to do business with us, that's up to you." I said okay... And she mentions my attitude about the way I put the pen and check on the counter. I explained that I don't have attitude with people unless they have it first and left the building. My boyfriend comes out and says that she decided not to give us a loan because of me. We then went to Check n' Go and got a better loan anyway. I am now going to make a complaint to another branch because she denied me a person above her to complain to when I called.

If you want a payday loan, I would advise you to go to Check n' Go, they were very pleasant and helpful.
