I never recommend living above Estas. They told us before we moved in that you wouldn't hear the music from the bar during the week. We spent the entire year waking up to estas music at 6 a.m. Also, when we moved in there was burn wholes and stains on the carpet. The carpet needed to be replaced as you walked over it your foot would be covered in pervious tenants hair. Campustown doesn't care about there apartments or tenants. If you want to live some where nice, don't live with Campustown!

Ev Cochrane just can't get enough of ripping off college kids. I spent a year in Stanton Heights, a shotty living arrangement despite it's appearance from the outside. The only benefit was the parking ramp, and half the time your spot was occupied by somebody walking over to Welch to drink.

The buildings are built so quickly, no care is given to the building process, the materials are cheap. If somebody leaned on the opposite side of the wall from the couch, you would get nudged. There was also a 20 degree temperature difference between bedroom 1 and bedroom 3. How efficient is it to have the window open all winter and be pumping a space heater 15 feet down the hall?

The doors wouldn't stay closed, stuff fell and cracked all the time--and the building was 3 years old. The rent was ungodly high--with a $75 charge for being 1 day late--especially because it was a dump with a nice coat of paint.

PROS: location?
CONS: everything!
