I'm not believing these posts about the terrible service, etc - we had a great experience, our salesman Jack, who actually showed us and demostrated the cars we wanted. The finance staff even beat our bank's "best" rate - everyone at Deery 5 Star are the people I want to be my car people!

What a selection, I just bought my second used car and love it. Jack was great and really helped me select my perfect car. I've recommended to friends and family and now my parents are driving a new Brad Deery Motors car, how cool is that.

They don't update their webpage at all, so if you find a car you like chances are its already been sold. That backup car you thought was cute? Sold. The car that was in your price range but wasn't particularly interested in? Sold too. So what's left? Cars that run reasonably well with pre-existing damages. Do you really want to take another three hours of your life to drive back just for them to tell you they can't fix it because their winshield guy/engine mechanic/transmission specialist went on vacation and nobody told you to reschedule?

If you are looking at Brad Deerys internet page don't believe it!!! We drove two hours, ready to buy a car at the advertised price. When we got there it took them 45 minutes to even locate the car we were looking for and then when they finally found it, the sales manager came out and said they could not sell it for that advertised price.. I would not buy a vehicle from a dealership that can not stand by their word...

I bought a 2004 Buick LeSabre from them a couple of weeks ago, not 24 hours after getting I had transmission problems, the finance manager John was disrespectful and unprofessional saying cuss words in a consultation, they kept pushing warranties on me and continued to lie. They are a terrible dealership and i would not recommend them to anyone

My son just bought his first vehicle from this dealership and within 24 hrs was having trouble with the transmission. We asked them for a transmission flush, which they did, and it didn't help. When speaking with the service manager he told me that they did the flush for free because we had agreed on the power train warranty. Should not have even been an issue, should have been free even if we had not agreed on that. He told me that he wanted my son to drive the car for a week or two and if the flush didn't take care of it, (which he wasn't believing it would) they would fix it right, he just didn't want a claim on the warranty in such a short period of time after purchase, looked better after a couple of weeks. We spoke with the sales manager and the finance department about all of this. When my son bought the car he was offered the warranty for about $70 more added to the car payment, we said "no thanks" and that was that, until the next day when the transmission started acting up. When my son asked about the warranty then he was told that they would give him a discount, when all the paper work was presented it was going to be around 197 dollars for the warranty on top of the car payment, what the hell happened to the $70 more? That's what we asked and have waited for an answer, they don't seem to want to talk with us now. Always busy with other customers, what are we fish? I will NEVER buy a car from this dealership again, they might even get the car back that my son bought if they don't make this right. Our salesman was great but it went down hill from there.

The reviews below had to have been written by Deery employees! Me and my spouse were literally treated like a pile of dirt by our THREE sales people and management. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, which was probably a bad idea since the place was nearly packed. We went there with one mission on our mind - come home with a new car. My husband and I were very displeased by our first salesman, who brushed us off on the lot to tend to an older couple(easy sell he must have thought). The second sales person we dealt with left us half way through our vehicle demonstration to go to LUNCH! Finally after basically waiting in line for an hour we got to test drive a Jeep Commander, not with an "actual" salesman as he referred to it - by the IT guy who after seeing us stand in the showroom without assistance took it upon himself to help us! He, who I believe was named Jacob, was very friendly and did not seem anything like the rest of the employees. My husband and I decided to reward Jacob for his service by buying the Jeep from him that night! Unfortunately having not sold a car in a few months after we began filling out the paperwork we ran into a few roadblocks. He apologized nearly a dozen times and would run back and talk to his manager. After all paperwork was signed we were ready to get financed. This is where the real trouble started!! The manager who helped our sales person fill out the forms seemed to have ADDED money owed to the amount. Jacob was the first to spot the problem while we were waiting to be financed. Moments later his manager came back with him and said there was "NOT A PROBLEM!" what do you mean, we thought? After trying to negotiate with the manager he finally told us to pack up and leave - that we wasted both of their time. We said forget it and walked out to our car. Before we began backing up we heard a knock on my husband's window - it was Jacob. He very sincerely apologized and made it very clear that he was sorry for the incident and had nothing to do with it - without him running out after us we would have filed a complaint with the BBB! All in all stay clear of Brad Deery! With the exception of one or two employees they are all extremely rude and down right corrupted.

Can't believe there is a car dealership of this caliber in IOWA!!!! I recently moved near Chicago but will still make the trip back to Maquoketa, Iowa for my next purchase of a car! I live near Brad Deery Auto Center and recently bought a new GTO from them. I was very pleased with the service and am glad I live so close to an excellent dealership! I also got to take a look at their service department and WOW, by far one of the cleanest service areas I have seen in my life.

We recently purchased a vehicle from here and couldnt be more pleased with the level of service we received. They also beat the price on the vehicle by thousands compared to similar card dealerships within a 75-mile radius. There service is department is great as well. They will come and pick up your vehicle for scheduled service and deliver it to you when the service is complete. Definitely a five-star dealer.
