I've never been a big fan of the Brown Bottle restaurants. The Italian food here is mediocre at best and the service is never that great. I prefer to go to Mondo's in Coralville over here any day.

This is one of the places not to miss on the date night circuit. Plus with its proximity to the downtown area in Iowa City and less-crowded North Liberty stop, you'll always get a great Italian dinner. Just remember to get a to-go box, or a nap before the next activity.

We love the Brown Bottle's fine italian food. Nice, quiet atmosphere, the lasagna is especially good. They have a nice selection of wines to go with your meal.
