Shoppes On Grand

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ames. The food is great every time I go. The lunches are delicious, they arrive quickly, the service is great. The amount of food is perfect, not too little, not to much and with a great taste variety. Great variety and the coffee is wonderful. Great amount of parking, easy handicapped access. My only complaint is that the restaurant park of this fun gift shop should be a bit larger and the plastic chairs are uncomfortable. The tables are so crowded it's a bit hard to navigate between them when the tea shop is busy.

Shoppes on Grand is a very fun place to shop and have lunch at. It is an older home, past Mayor's house I believe, that has a variety of things to sell. The house has been turned into many little stores and a tea room. Each room or bedroom is set up with a different theme of gifts to buy. What would be the livingroom is the tea room. They have nice little treats up to big pictures for sale. You will find clothing, stationery, bath things and more. Looking for a special gift....go to Shoppes on Grand!!
