Animal Control Of Cedar Rapids

The new management is accepting volunteers as of 2/17/2007. We feel this is a giant leap in creating an ever-expanding base of animal lovers to help the staff create the type of shelter we will all be proud of, and one that will offer cats and dogs the best possible chance to find their way home, or to find a new adoptive family. We got our dog from here. He is a wonderful dog. They were very helpful and nice to us. It is a good thing to feel like you saved a dogs life rather than having some one breed a dog for you. It had many choices on the animals there. There were so many to choose from that made it a very hard decsion.
