.

I have been cleaning a lot lately, my house somehow having become the depository of "junk" accumulated from 15 years, 2 kids and an OTC husband. There were items in closets that I honestly did not remember purchasing and I am not old enough to have memory problems (repeat that 10 times please!;-) )

Anyway, having a van load of assorted items from Christmas and other holiday decorations to books and boys clothing....(as well as lots of women's stuff but don't tell hubby)...I set out to drop it off at our local store.

Now, anyone who has dropped off items at such a store can tell you that although the name is known nation wide, the stores all are different from the dumpiest of the dumps to the brightest stores which are of a quality close to department stores. This is one on the high end of stores!

Not only do they dispose of items that are not sale worthy, they arrange the items they do have in nice neat ways, leaving enough room on racks to browse, but they have employees working there that have personality and kindness in their demeanor.

So the next time you are cleanig out closets and want to send them where thy willbe appreciated, consider Coralville Salvation Army....your items will find tender loving care and a good home...I promise!

PROS: ...bright, well stocked store with friendly employees
CONS: ...nothing
