Cherie's is the BEST!! I danced at Cherie's Dance Studio for 13 years. It felt like a second home for me. Cherie and the staff became like family and I still stop into the studio from time to time to say "hello" and I also attend the recitals each spring. They are the most beautiful recitals in the area! As far as technique, Cherie's students are known for it! In fact our technique and stage presence is one of the reason we do so well at competitions. Along with learning how be an accomplished dancer, I also learned how to follow directions, work as a team, gained loads of self-esteem and confidence, and made many life-long friends. I wouldn't trade in my experience at Cherie's for the world!! I know your dancer will LOVE it too!

We moved to Cedar Rapids a few years ago and with not being familiar with the area, I had to depend on other people's suggestions for good places to eat, shop, etc. When my seven year old daughter asked me let her take dance lessons, one of my co-workers suggested Cherie's. Her daughter danced there since she was twelve years old right up to her high school graduation. I am very happy that I took her advice! My daughter is now on her third year of dance and I cannot say enough great things about Cherie's. We felt right at home from the beginning and my daughter's teachers have been great role models for her. The recitals are absolutely beautiful. If you child wants to dance, enroll them at Cherie's Dance Studio, you'll be happy you did!

My child dances at Cherie's Dance Studio. She loves it! She learns a lot and has fun too. Every week after dance she comes home, dances around the house and sings me her songs. She can't wait to go back.

My daughter has been attending this year only, and I am very unhappy with this studio. The costumes cost twice as much as other studios. The owner sends home letters to parents that are very negative, like she assumes we are going to try to break the rules. Plus, she doesn't give all the info or there are errors in the information. I have remained perpetually angry and frustrated, and I have been told by other parents that other studios have a much more organized and respectful way of doing things. There are many quality studios in town that have a much more respectful way of doing business.

Cherie's has been long known for producing lots of little dancers in this town, but I have to wonder how good they are technically? They flash around their trophies, I find that to be a turn off. I also don't like the way they mark up their costumes and seem out to get your money at every turn. There are much more family friendly places to take your kids to learn to dance!

I have taken my daughter to Cheries Dance in the past. We have loved it. My daughter thought it was really fun. The staff worked well with my small child. I thought the end recital was absolutely wonderful! It was so cute! It seemed very well organized and all the costumes the children wore were adorable. I highly recommend this place.
