Great place! Has a selection of herbs and spices, as well as brews that amaze for a place of it's size and location. Better than the employee owned and much appreciated over Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee. (Matt H. in a previous review stated Hy-Vee as 'evil'. Matt, you must be 21 years of age and drinking too much brew and smoking way too much herb! Not the herb they sell at Roots. Matt, do you work at Wal-Mart and 'eat' Chinese regularly? ...yeah, that's what I thought!)

What a great store there beer selection is comparable to evil hi vee's. It's nice to see that another store in Cedar Falls is getting away from the macro beer infestation.

This is the only good alternative/organic food store in the area, but it is good. I've shopped here for years and their selection of vegetarian alternatives (including some very good fake beef jerky) and fruits have kept me from becoming bored with food. The dates here are amazing - they're long and big and covered in sugary juices. They're better than the dates I ate when I went to Europe and the best tasting fruit I've ever had in my life. Highly recommended store.
