Even though its now closed due to the flood, Arbuckle's gave me the wrong tattoo which after reading this site I now know that this is not the first time either. Its not anything near what it was supposed to be. So now $200 more and 9 years later I have another tattoo covering it. He doesnt really do a BAD job just isnt what I picked out, so if you must go there make sure its somewhere you can watch him the whole time! I wouldnt even give him a star but the system made me!

My mom had gotten a tattoo, and he wouldn't do what she wanted, he thought the design 'was stupid" and wouldn't use the color of ink she wanted. it is 5 years later and now my mom just has a green blob on her lower leg instead of a tree frog. As she says 'HE IS JERK'. My mom only went because every else was closed and now she has a green blob to remind her of that one spontaneous moment.

I don't know what these other people are even talking about with a dirty tattoo shop or he doesn't have anything or his work is bad. I got a Dragon tattoo done on my leg and it is a great piece of art. I was only charged 100.00 and that is normally what is costs to get a tattoo done. If you want a crappy tattoo or a cheap tattoo I suggest all you people out their either better get your own tattoo gun or go to a friend who will do a really crappy job and charge you 10 bucks for what you want. I believe that Arbuckles is a good tattoo shop and I would do back to him again. By the way I have about 10 tattoos and Arbuckles is about if I had to rank the 3rd best one.

I went to Arbuckles 3 years ago to get my belly button peiced. They were very friendly, letting my moms boyfriend sit next to me. the walked me threw all the steps post piercing. I was worries it would hurt, but the told me they were gonna count to 6 and then pierce it, i felt a little pressure (which I hought was them pinching my belly) 3, and then when they got to 6, their like your done. it dint hurt. its cost $65, but its only money.
As for tatooing, I cant get any yet, so i dont know what they are like, my friends dad has some from their, and they look pretty good, i guess.
PROS: Nice, good work, clean, everything
CONS: kinda pricey on peircings

This place is very dirty for a tattoo shop and I have not ever seen a place like this before. There work is not very good and if your from around here you should probably go and see Doug Stewart. You would have better luck doing your work by yourself or have a buddy do it for you.

I went here back when I was in college to get my belly button pierced. They walked me through the process and gave me information on how to care for the piercing. They were also very professional and made me feel right at ease by letting my friend hold my hand!

Man i have seen some of this guys work its trash
he claims you have to keep the bandage on for 7 days after the tattoo as well, probably because its so bad he doesn't want you to see it until its half way healed up so you can't do anything about it. Also he charges 675.00 for a cover up becuase he claims he is a "real tattoo artist" at a "real tattoo shop"

he does a good job with piercings from what ive experienced but for tattoos you should think twice abou going to him and look elsewhere for someone who is able to give you what you deserve a great piece of art not just another generic tattoo

All I have to say is if you are considering going here to get any work done...RECONSIDER! This man does about the worst work I have ever seen! Remember you are wearing this for life! If Cedar Rapids Tattoo Co. was still in business i would direct you there, they did good work. Dont say I didnt warn you! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...anywhere else!
