We have loved living here for the past year and 1/2. Quiet neighbors. Wide hallways and stairs. Vicky has always been responsive and caring. Staff very friendly and courteous, and they came and fixed 3 different problems immediately. The entry ways are kept clean. Snow is removed promptly. There was some parking lot work done last summer, but we were never blocked from getting in and out - very courteously treated. For the size of the apartment, we were pleasantly surprised by the low utility costs - The highest was $105 last January. Summertime high was $65. In my job I pay utilities for many rented apartments, and the costs here are lower than most. If we weren't moving out of town, we would stay here. I've visited many apartment complexes in the area, and for the same money, none are better. I am skeptical of the negative comments, for we have not experienced the problems they claim. It would be interesting to know what their real problems were.\n

This complex is now under new management. Unfortunately the new management is not focused on making tenants happy. The maintenance department isn't able to keep up with day to day repairs. Even things in the entryways and common areas, for example a broken window, will go unrepaired for 9 months. When they get around to repairing things, they usually fix it the quick way instead of the right way. You'll have to call them to your apartment multiple times because the same problem will keep happening. \r\n\r\nThe aesthetic quality of the buildings is poor. Because they don't clean or fix things, the hallway floors and walls are often dirty if there are no units for rent in your building. You'll be embarassed to have people over. They don't use padding under the carpet and all floors are concrete so it's uncomfortable to take your shoes off. They often have mismatched wood colors and fixtures within the same room. When they paint before you move in, they do a crappy job and don't even cover nail wholes, scrapes, dents, etc. They don't take care to keep anything inside looking good. The landscaping outside however is well done and probably the best feature.\r\n\r\nAlthough parking is not assigned, some parts of the complex don't have enough parking. You'll have to park by another building if you live in certain areas. No garages are available and there is a large waiting list when/if they do become available.\r\n\r\nYou usually don't hear voices from your neighbors, but you'll hear walking, pounding, and bass from music through the walls and floors.\r\n\r\nThere are much nicer apartments in the area for the same or less money. The nice landscaping is only a first impression and will not make up for everything else in the long run. \r\n

Pros: Nice neighborhood and landscaping

Cons: Incompetant staff, inside appearance is not maintained, could find nicer for the same price.
