I found the same type of Italian ceramics in this shop in Des Moines that I found in Italy. This shop is located in the very quaint, historic Valley Junction area of Des Moines, IA. They say that they are the only store in the Midwest that sells Italian items but I don't know if this is correct or not. I only know that the shop is filled with items that would make any Italian style loving person happy. Prices are a little higher than usual but the items are imported.

A Touch of Italy is located in Valley Junction, which is a cute street of many small local businesses. I love browsing in this small store because they carry Murano glassware, including vases and table pieces. This is the only place in Des Moines where you can buy such unique pieces. The prices are on the high end, but of course, if you want a better deal, you'll have to go to Venice!
