.

Mitigation of our water damage was done quickly but the process of drying the carpet and pad caused chunks of the pad to blow everywhere in the basement. Based on past experience it should've been removed and thrown away instead of dried. We had the carpet-layers remove it and replace it but there's still a mess.

Reconstruction required replacing ceiling tile in one room, replacing drywall on one wall, painting, and replacing some light fixtures. ServPro refused to let me purchase the materials and claims they don't take advantage of contractor's discounts so I'm paying retail plus their 20% contractor fee for stuff that I could easily pick up while I'm choosing styles and colors at the hardware store.

Rather than discussing this and giving me options, Ryan called to accuse me of going back on my agreement to have them do the work -- basically accusing me of being of poor character and of being untrustworthy. Eventually his boss agreed to let me purchase some of the materials.

It took about 6 weeks to do one wall and one ceiling in a 12 x 12 room. They don't return my phone calls. They don't keep the project moving forward. They don't keep me informed on what they're doing and why they're not doing it.

ServPro failed us on epic scale. Unfortunately I can't give them zero stars.
