Broadway vet has been wonderful every time I've gone in/called. I've taken in two rats and my dog. I have not waited more than 5 min. For the vet to come in. I was treated well, they listened to my concerns, and gave the right diagnosis. They know what they are taking about! They give pre measured medications, very discriptive of how I am supposed to give them. The staff is friendly, and I appreciate how they are open late. They do a follow up call to make sure your animal is doing ok. I actually got two. I've called in twice with concerns about my rats and dog, they have gotten a vet on the line right away and were able to answer my questions. Most of all I really appreciate how they played with my rats when I had to leave them there for a few hours, I got a full report. That really meant a lot to me. They have great service they care about the animals, and do an excellent job. I wouldn't let my little ratties and doggie go anywhere else. I just found out they do house calls- impressed.

I am so impressed with their level of care and attention to detail. They took care of Kitten immediately to make sure she was not in pain and then addressed the details after caring for her first.

Very excellent. My Mom had an issue with her puppy today, on Thanksgiving and Dawn Sessions has been wonderful. And her birthday today also. She has gone way and beyond her duty. Could have just told her to go to the emergency Vet, and I bet other Vets, would have told her to to that. But she decided to help my mom with her sick dog. Kudo's to that. I have been taking our cats and dog to Broadway Vet for years, and have been very happy. Never met Dawn, but Dr. Hadley has always been so nice to me and my fur babies. Thank you.

I would be happy to give Broadway Vet 4 stars. After all, no one is perfect nor should anyone be expected to be.

For those clients not happy, I'm truly sorry. I too have had less than favorable experiences at other places of business but rather than taking it out online, I spoke with the management. Most are happy to listen and make improvements when and where they can; it's called communication. You can never please everyone all the time but you sure can try.

I've counted on Broadway vet for neuters, spays, vaccinations and recently, emergency surgery. Yes, appointments have run late, but I would invite you to name another medical facility that has never run behind. Yes, vet care is spendy, but when I had financial difficulties, they worked WITH me to arrange a payment plan. Yes, they may misdiagnose but my pediatrician has too.

Thank you for taking care of Nikki, Ted, Amy and Allie.

Sincerely, Mari P.

I LOVE Broadway Vet. My Yorkie has some type of liver shunt and needed two risky surgeries, that otherwise wouldn't be an issue if she didn't have the shunt. Dr. Sessions was amazing and made sure to take very good care of Chloey. The staff was very informative and caring, knowing I was concerned. Six months later Chloey is all healed up and crazier than ever. I HIGHLY recommend this vet!!

My 8 year old dog, bow had knee surgery with surgeon there at broadway vet. she has recovered thoroughly 1 year later. Dr. Caldwell and his staff came trough for us. Bow is entirely recovered 1 year later. Their care and caution in surgery {aware that a bad dose of anaesthetic was given the first scheduled surgery}, and follow up care afterward was essential. I had to keep bow mellow weeks after, to ensure healing.anti-innflammatory meds helped too.

We had to put our 12 year old Lab down last August due to Hip dysplasia and excessive pain we could no longer give him relief for. He always had a dislike for any Vet's office and hated going there. We wanted him to pass at home. His regular Vet refused to make a house call saying they had a "special room" set up for this. They didn't understand that just taking him there would upset him. I call several other Vets and they also refused. Broadway understood and asked when they should come out. Our Vet now.

She's been our vet for about the last 5 years, mediocre care, very very high prices - pushes the most expensive alternative of care. Looking for a new vet now - why is it so hard to find a decent vet???????

I agree with Dusty W. 100 percent. We experienced terrible service at Broadway Vet. We were kept waiting -- even we had an established appointment time. They charge an arm and a leg for services yet don't seem to have any appreciation for the value of the pet owner's time. They misdiagnose -- picking the most expensive problem the pet can have. They gave us an estimate for hip surgery. We took the dog to another vet that specializes in orthopedic surgery who performed the surgery for 1/3 of the cost of what was estimated -- mostly because what was wrong was 1/3 of what Broadway Vet said was wrong. Last time we went in, they asked me how the cat was doing that died 3 years ago -- obviouslly really sensitive folks.

Our beloved cat Julius became very ill and was clearly suffering, so we brought him to Broadway Veterinary Hospital for what we knew would be a grim diagnosis. Everyone there, from the staff to the doctor, herself, was incredibly kind and gentle with Julius. And when the decision was made to end his suffering, we were allowed to spend as much private time with him as we wanted, until we felt ready. After Julius passed, we were both obviously very emotional, and everyone was incredibly supportive and genuinely sorry for our loss. As a result, I will be sure to bring my other pets to BVM whenever they need medical services.

I had been taking my animals into All Valley Pet Clinic and was always very unhappy with the service to my pets. I decided to take my cat in to Broadway Vet because they came highly recommended. I am extremely happy with the way they truly care for the animals and I feel that they are doing everything they can to help. I would definitely recommend Broadway Vet

There are three majors issues regarding this company. One, the vet who assisted our cat (who was vomiting and scratching inordinately) didn't know the first thing about cats. She was absolutely ignorant. My wife and I found ourselves suggesting possible causes, to which the vet would reply, "Oh, maybe. I'll get you some medicine for that too." Two, when the vet gave our cat his vaccines, he screamed horrifically because she caused him significant pain. After some twenty years of owning cats and taking them in for yearly vaccinations (and even doing them myself), I've never seen a cat scream like that or seen anyone do such a terrible job. She didn't know how to give a vaccine properly, which is a very simple thing. Three, we received a total of about 10 minutes of service from the clinic, yet we were there for an hour and a half. No diagnosis ever occurred; the vet came in, demonstrated her ignorance, and left to get flea medicine. An hour later she came back with an "estimate" of our costs and then left again for twenty minutes. Finally, she returned to administer the shots poorly and sent us out to pay. She did not even apply the flea medicine or give him his first of two de-worming pills. We were told to give both medicines sometime today. Aside from the actual cost of the medicines, I'm not even sure what I paid for. The service is horrendous. If I could, I would recommend a better vet, but I just moved to Boise from Hailey and I have no further experience. But please, definitely avoid the Broadway Vet.

PROS:
CONS: They are ignorant and their service is terrible

Broadway vet is a wonderful place to take your pet. We have taken our dog for over seven years and she has had a variety of ailments. This vet has always been compassionate and knowledgable with every issue. They always have you and your pet's best interests in mind and they go out of their way to make sure your pet receives the best care.
