Main Street Video Inc

The only downtown video rental store, this is where everyone who doesn't have a car rents videos- college student friendly. I like that it is quick and easy to get a video and there usually aren't long lines. If you drive, parking can be, but usually isn't, a problem.

This is THE spot to go for all you film students and average Joes as well. There were soo many classic titles and foreign film that I could not find anywhere else when I was taking a film class at UI. Not only is their selection good, but the prices are great, the staff is friendly and it's located downtown, in walking distance from the university. Support a local business, go here!

PROS: Tons of hard-to-find movies available here
CONS: Limited copies of each title

price is so so so so cheap!

and additional coupon for students which you can get easily!

college studnets always want to rent some movies but pay less money.

you can share a good time w. your classmates, family, coworker....
and for a less price,

but for new rental the price is just so so. not cheaper than other business.

lots of selection ranging from dvd, vhs tapes and games. I used to live very near this store so I visited it numerous times. rented lots of tapes and dvds in the past couple of years from them and I have been happy with the selection and service. they have a special on weekdays called five dollars for five movies five days. good value (does not apply to new release). the store seems doing well even after some national chain rental invaded the town.
