Spent $175 on ORANGE HAIR!!!! I went in for a color correction, had my appointment marked down wrong as a weave. Went along with the weave, and my hair is now ORANGE!!! Completely unflattering!!! The lady was so concerned with her next appointment that she didn't care that my hair now looks completely disgusting!! Getting it fixed from someone else ASAP!!!!

We have highly trained stylists and never want our guests to leave unhappy. We have an entire team devoted to exceeding our guests expectations and would have loved the opportunity to correct the work. Thank you for your feedback.

What an amazing place! I have had two appointments at this salon, both with different stylists and wow, they both have done great work. The price is not high compared to other downtown salons and the service from the start was incredible. I am a client for life and I just found out they have been around for a really long time. One of the massage therapist just donated a massage to my son's school to help raise money...need I say more!

I purchased one of those Living Social massages at Graebers. I only waited about 4wks to get in to Jenna. I just saw her this weekend and wow was I blown away. I have bought "deals" online before and normally other companies don't give you the best service, but Jenna did. I had a hour and a half full body massage and she worked every area I needed, plus gave me advise for home care too. I will save everything I have to go back to her....wow is all I can say.

I am picky about my haircuts. Graeber and Company has a barber now and since I've been seeing him people have noticed that I look better. He does a hot towel treatment and the Aveda products are the best. I converted from my cheapo drugstore shave cream and after shave to Aveda and women always are telling me how great I smell. I've been very impressed by the front desk (and the are beautiful)

Just moved here, love this salon. I get my nails done here too, Jamie is awesome. Kim does my hair and I get compliments on it everywhere, even at the grocery store! My styilst in LA was great, but Graeber and Co exceeded my expectations. I expected to get a "small town" salon and instead I got great hair, extra service, and amazing energy...for a great price. Thanks guys!

It makes me sad to see bad reviews of such an amazing salon and spa. You can't make everyone happy, it's a proven fact. I have been going to Graebers for 30 YEARS, it has been established in Boise for over 40, my kids grew up going there, and their kids see stylists at Graeber.
The energy is fantastic, they train and expect so much out of the hairdressers who are lucky enough to get a "chair" at their salon. I sit and watch everyone work while my color processes and I can feel the love and teamwork that they share.
Support local business that gives back to our community, go to Graeber and Co!!

We bought our friend a massage so she could de-stress. she looked worse when she came out. she said the woman gabbed the whole time, smashed her head in the face thing, and whatever she put on her feet were luke warm, and stunk! of course she didn't complain, she said she just wanted it to be over. I asked her if she remembered her name. she did'nt. said she was heavy set, with shoulder legnth hair. very disappointing

I love Graeber and in fact I just wrote a bad review for my local salon... I told my husband last night I will drive out of my way to Graeber than try anywhere else from now on! I learned my lesson! Graeber is great- I have always felt like I was in good hands and could trust the person doing my hair or eyebrow wax. Everyone seems very well trained and know what they're doing. No need to be nervous! I love their healthy products (so does my hubby) and will continue to go back. Their eyebrow waxes are the best- the gals truly professional and always get it right the first time. You really feel pampered at Graeber and like you matter to them. The only bad thing I would say is that I have felt very looked down on by the receptionist girls. I don't know why, but they just have been very snobby. Everyone else is great though.

Cons: Snobby reception desk girls

I went in with Brown hair, with a few highlights.
I had the worst experience here. I told the Stylist no red tones, so what color was my hair when I walked out? Copper or Carrot Red, whatever you want to call it. And the cut could have been done by a child. No style what so ever. I am deeply disappointed. Don??t waste your money, they talk a good talk, and put a pretty receptionist at the front desk to make you think your getting a quality service, but your not.

I have been coming to Graebers for years and I have consistently received great service and amazing hair. They treat you like you are a guest, not just another client. The prices are actually less than the salon around the block, and walking into Graeber they are always full and energetic, you'd think that they would charge more. I recommend this salon to all that are new to the area or need a change. The stylist I see is great with my blond hair! Also: had a massage here and it was amazing.

I have recently moved here from New York City and was in search a salon comparable to the one I went to in NYC. I went on-line and went to their website where I put in a request for an appointment. They called me back within the next day. When I went in a couple of days later, the entire building was bustling with people and very energetic. It was a very busy day and I was still treated like their number one customer. My stylist did exactly what I wanted and offered great advice. As I left, the front desk staff helped me with all my product and follow up appointment. From start to finish,I was very satisfied with the service I received, and will be back again! What a great first time experience in Boise!

WOW!! When I walked in the doors I felt the excitement. I was greeted by friendly, stylish young women and offered Aveda Tea. I waited about 5min. for my stylist that I was meeting for the first time (Marisa) she is fabulous. She was confident, pleasant, knowledgeable, and her styling is AMAZING! After my haircut I saw Debbie in the spa for a brow wax and she spent time with me and was very detailed with her work. I would recommend this salon & spa to anyone. I only paid $40 for a haircut/style and $15 for brow wax. Great Experience!!

I took my healthy, long, naturally-streaked virgin hair in for some subtle highlights and a trim and left with a disaster. The highlights were done by a bubble-gum-snapping colorist with only 2 years experience and resulted in blotches of bleach at the the middle of my hairline. The haircut consisted of one of their "famous" stylists pulling my hair into a ponytail at my forehead and sawing it into a point with scissors. "Good God," I thought, "What the he#! is he doing???" Worst hair cut I have ever had. And the highlighted hair felt like straw. One month later I had to go back to my former stylist and have her re-color the bleached blotches and cut 4" off the bottom. Total outlay: $200. Never again!

I've just moved to Boise and love this place! I have gone to Jennifer and Odell they are both amazing!
They weren't expensive at all either, yes- you can spend less but if you've moved to Boise- A) don't live in Eagle/Meridian/Caldwell/Nampa/Mountain Home- Live In Boise.
B) don't trust your hair to JoJo at the HairHut! Go to Graeber and Company

I recommend Graeber and Company for the following reasons:1) The professionals train on a regular basis and are very knowledgeable and experienced. This salon was the first place I've ever visited where I felt I was in good hands and they knew what I wanted.2) The price is not any higher than what I always wound up paying anywhere else, except the really cheap places where the stylists change like a revolving door and what you are getting is not dependable.3) The customer service and atmosphere are wonderful.4) Everyone who works there and all the clients who go there have good-looking hair. While it is true that someone who does not have good style of their own may still be a talented stylist, someone who has a sense of style or art has a better chance of helping me attain a good style for myself. From color to cuts, people leave the salon looking sharp and looking happy.

For as much money as this place is generating, it could use a make over...the stations are sloppy. The front desk ladies are terrific, friendly and professional. The prices are way too high for the service rendered. It feels more like a barber school than the trendy downtown place it claims to be. Come on Graeber, use some of that North End money that comes in youre place by the truckload and give the place some class.

I don't see what the big deal is about this place. It is super expensive and they don't do a good enough job to justify the money. I think it is a snobby place. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I moved to Idaho a year ago and was very sad to leave my great stylist in Washington. I wanted an updated, hip look so went searching for a salon that fit that mold.

I finally ended up at Graeber & Company, which is an Aveda salon in Downtown Boise. It is a very large salon with many services available. They have traditional hair and nails service, but also have a day spa that provides skin care, makeup, and massage treatments.

The salon is very clean and trendy looking. A style you'd probably see in the trendy New York, big city salons. The mirrors are mounted on large free-standing doors, complete with knobs. All the stylists are dressed professionally and look the part.

My stylist did a great job of determining what I wanted and then executing it. She gave me suggestions on what may or may not look good too.

Price is decent. It is actually about the same as you would pay going to JCPenney's, but you get the trendy-styles rather than the styles you see from Penney's.

I'd definitely recommend this salon to anyone who wants a trendy, modern experience. It really isn't much for people who want a down-home, country style salon where everyone congregates to gossip though.

PROS: Trendy, fun salon to visit!
CONS: In Downtown, so parking is challenging at times.
