Take One Cinema

We love Take One. Yes, it is the only theater in Mtn Home, but we prefer it to Boise because it is WAY more affordable!! For a family of 3 you spend about $30 with popcorn and sodas for all, plus candy and a big pickle!! In Boise, we get only popcorn and soda and for the 3 of us it's about $52. So, if you want to see something special then yeah, go to Boise but if Take One is showing something you would like to see then save the drive and the money.

I think that is was alright but I think that they should make a website that tells u what movies r playing and wen do they come out. Because i would really like to know wen this one movie comes out because i herd it was funny and i really want to see it...but other than that it is a good movie theater.

This is the only theater in Mountain Home so don't expect to get a real fabcy theater. They only show 2 movies. (They only have 2 screens), I still enjoy coming here. They have the movie and the snacks thats all I need. When The base theater is not playing anything worth watching, this place is better then driving the 50 miles to Boise. Very friendly staff

Granted this is the only movie theather in town I perfer to drive to Boise to a real theater. There are only 2 screens here. They sell out very quick on new releases and tend to show a lot of old stuff. Worth it if you don't have the means to get to Boise or if a movie is a must see and you don't mind going several hours before hand to get the tickets.

This is the closest movie theatre we have off base and it's great. It's not big but my husband and I enjoy going there with the kids. It's affordable and the showing times are perfect for our schedule. They do sell out very quick and only have 2 screens, so we usually swing by and get the tickets and then go back later to watch the movie, unless we want to spend a few hours before the movie just hanging around.
