I took my Mercedes to have a repair done. I was quoted $180.00 for the part and $120.00 for the labor. I had already paid $80.00 to trouble shoot the problem. I bought the part myself at a German auto parts store. I had a friend who installed this part, it took him 10 minutes!! Marks is a complete rip off. The quote for the labor was ridiculous for a 10 minute installation! He does mark up on parts as well! I will never do business with this mechanic, I don't recommend them!!

We have taken all our BMW's and a Ford or two to Mark's over the last 10 years. Mark has always taken great care of our vehicles and us. Always know that it will be fixed correctly the first time. We even get all our tires through Mark. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else.

we have a couple of Volvo's in our family. It can be hard to find someone to work on them sometimes. Mark's has taken us and them in, and just treats them like normal cars. We feel like the service is fair, but sometimes it takes a while to get in. Even with the occasional wait, we're happy.

I recently bought a 1977 BMW and took it to Mark's Automotive to have a frozen brake caliper looked at. I called to get an update on the first day it was there and Mark said they were "working on it." I drove over later that night to get the title out of the glove compartment and the car had not been moved from the same spot I had parked it in and the seat was still at my exact setting when I sit in it so I know it had not been worked on.
Today I called Mark and he said the they were "still diagnosing the problem but that they were looking at it at that very moment." I drove over to the Auto shop to pickup some more papers out of the car and it was still parked in the same exact spot with my seat at the setting I had left it at when I dropped it off. The main reason that I know they had not even looked at it was that when I left it there I had left a stack of papers on the gear shift which had not been moved at all. I also noticed that the steering wheel was still in the locked position where I had left it. When I asked Mark about it he said, "we work on our cars in shifts we jack it up in the air, look at it and then park it back in the lot while we figure out what it needs." He then proceeded to charge me $25.00. I know for a fact that the car was never looked at. It was never even moved and if your shop fees are 75.00 an hour, why would you charge me for 20 minutes of work and when I ask you for specifics about what you found you have no clue? Before I took it to Mark's Auto I had it checked out by Les Schwab and in 15 minutes they told me it was the caliper but they could not work on it because of the wheel spacers, that is when they recommended Mark's. I am very disappointed and feel that I have been taken advantage of. I am more disappointed that Mark was dishonest both on the phone with me and in person. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.
I know when I am being taken advantage of and this was the case.
Thank you

I entrust Mark and his "J" team with caring for all my cars.
From a Porsche race car to a 200MPH Mercedes Benz.
We are truly blessed to have such a fine motor mechanic in our area.
He performs magic along with high integrity.
Strongly recommended.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Mark's Automotive for the five years I've been going there. He isn't cheap, but he's no more expensive that anyone else. The thing I really appreciate - and that makes the price worthwhile - is that Mark's fixes it right the first time, every time, unlike so many independents.

Mark and his team are outstanding mechanics who are careful to correctly analyze the problem and fix what needs to be fixed while looking out for the customer's interests and avoiding unnecessary costs.

I wouldn't think of taking my Grand Cherokee anyplace else.

Fantastic find for us. It's nice to completely trust a repair shop, we just drop it off, call me when it's done. Thanks for a great job guys.

I will not try anyone else, very honest, very good, quality work. He gives me an estimate every time and I end up leaving with my cars fixed and much less than the estimate. Although his shop is always busy I do not mind leaving my car for a couple days to wait for parts or what not, I know my car will be fixed right the first time, and nothing extra will be done without my permission or any "imaginary" problems arise. He will even show you what the problem is and make sure you understand it. Great place.... Wonderful staff!! KUDOS TO MARK'S AUNTOMOTIVE!!!!

I have used Mark, my Dad used Mark, my Brother has used Mark, I am going to have to use Mark again very soon. He saved me a ton of money and I didn't have to deal with Alton's!

Mark and his crew at Mark's Automotive are the best! They are honest and only fix what needs to be fixed. No attempt to get you to change your windshield wipers or air filter. They work on anything from ferraris to old beasts of a truck.

PROS: Great! Honest!
CONS: Busy. I just usually drop off my car at night and leave a note.
