Ok so my grand daughter has been going to sunny days for 3 weeks I was very leary about taking her there however my daughter in law and son really had no choice at the time. I also found it to be un organized and slightly out of control. some of the teachers are quite nice. Every day we take her to school she would beg us not to leave her I chalked it up to her not being used to being away from us so as the second week came we decided to sit in with her for short periods of time I found it to be chaotic and children would fight and take toys from one another hit and scream, with no teachers to attend to them also one teacher was yelling and not so nice to a child that had bit another child amongst other things the last day my grand daughter attended when I took her that morning there was a window opened with no screen and a very small child standing on a chair hanging out also 3 little girls hitting each other badly over a toy, plus a little one holding a diaper standing there with her pants down waiting for help for several minutes til I brought it to their attention the teacher said she forgot. that day we showed up early to pick her up and she was crying horriby and had peed her pants but it was drying so she was sitting in those pants for quite some time. I am not one to complain however when it comes to the care of my 3 year old grandchild you bet I am going to demand the very best care. the facility is small and intidy and they have way to many children for the very few teachers they have. Its your choice to allow your child to go there but as a grandmother that pays attention to everything that goes on its not a place I would suggest . So I called the school this morning to let the owner know we were taking our child out and very respectfully explained why. she did admit to some of the chaos and told me that we wont be happy anywhere and hung up on me. WOW, to add to the frustration of what my grand daughter has gone through this woman treated me horrible. So good luck Sunny days and good luck to the families that have to use your services.

My kids have been going to Sunny Days for over two years now. When i started looking for a daycare for my children they were young (one and three) and i had been going through some family emergencies that required me to find one right away. I visited a LOT and when i say a lot, every daycare in post falls that had openings at that time, most of them seemed nice enough, a lot were small and dirty and made me almost cry watching the attendants ignoring the kids, but when i stopped into Sunny Days, it felt so right and i was at peace immediately! I had been a stay at home mom and had never left my kids anywhere before, but the way they run it there is more like home and how i would watch my children then any other place. Watching how excited my daughter would be telling me about all the things she learned and did was music to my ears and they have helped my kids continue building awesome character in a stable social environment. Sometimes they can go through staff a bit (mainly younger girls) but the core teachers are wonderful and all the extra activity's they participate in with the kids, soccer, swim lessons in summer, are wonderful assets to busy moms and dads that love to have their young ones involved in group environments, but maybe do not have the extra time to take them themselves. Parents and guardians are always strongly encouraged to participate in all activities and field trips, and the end of the year programs are amazingly cute, and the kids are so proud of themselves, showing the self-esteem building that is vital to their future at school and in the world when they grow. I always recommend Sunny Days as a safe and happy environment to any parent looking for a wonderful daycare/preschool for their child.

When I first tried to take my kids to Sunny Days they were full. I then took them to two other daycares that did not work out. Thankfully, spots opened up at Sunny Days. They do a wonderful job there of making the kids feel special. I really believe my 3 and 5 year old are learning to be kind and intelligent human beings. For preschool, they teach them academics (shapes, letters, etc), but they also teach social and emotional topics that encourage kids to share and have good self esteem.
My kids love the garden, and they also love the pets that they get to watch grow.
As far as the 1 star comment about rude, you may want to try making an appointment to visit. The front entrance does open up right into one of the larger multi-purpose rooms where kids are supposed to run around and play. The owners office is at the smaller building next door.
I recommend Sunny Days to anyone who asks, but they are usually full because they are so good!

I enrolled my 1st born daughter (now 14 1/2) into this preschool/childcare in 1996-98. I now have my 6yr old son & 4yr old daughter enrolled in this clean, fun & friendly environment. I trust the patient, caring, reliable owner & staff with my beloved children every day. My mind is always at ease knowing that when I leave for work, my children will be well taught & ALWAYS well cared for. I love the fact that when learning time is over. The children are able to be CHILDREN! When I asked my children what they liked most about Sunny Days they said, (son) "THE SNACKS :)" "Getting to see my nice friends" "And the fun art stuff." (daughter) "Getting stars for M&M's" "Fishes :) other animals" "and my teacher."For me, not only is MY comfort with this staff & environment important, but my CHILDREN'S is as well. If my children did not love to go to Sunny Days every day. It would be impossible to leave them there! So for me, this shows just how great Sunny Days Preschool is! ;) I also need to add, the rates for this facility to take such good care of my children are; I feel, GREAT! They do SO much with/for these kids! Holiday parties, field trips, safe transportation, fun learning & growth activities and SO MUCH MORE! I ALWAYS recommend Sunny Days Preschool/Day care to people in search of a great day care!!

I have been taking my three children to Sunny Days for 2 years consecutively and one year prior to that. The staff is always positive and attentive towards the children. The curriculum is well organized, applicable and well thought out. When I leave my children there, I have no doubt in my mind of their safety. I would (and do) recommend this preschool/daycare to my friends and family.

When I stopped into this daycare, I was there for a few minutes before anyone even noticed me. I watched as children were totally unattended, and unsupervised. The employees were yelling at children, and were not even attempting to interact with them. I would advise any parent to stay away from this daycare!

The one time I stopped in for information at Sunny Days, it was very clean and tidy. Lots of toys and stuff for the kids to do. I also noticed it was rather dark in there. Day rates are average prices.
